hi bloomfelt :) and welcome :) Good luck with the challenge!

    Thank you Cathybird

I forgot to say that the things I am excluding are Groceries, Fuel and Bills as there is no getting away from them unfortunately.

Failed on day one as hubby is servicing my car (bought all the bits on a black friday deal and he's now getting round to it) and hes decided that he needs ramps. I don't mind paying half as it will save us a lot of money in the long run, just a shame its my first day of this challenge failed already. :(

Muggle1000 what app do you use? I am always looking for new ways to help me keep better track of outgoings.

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)

bloomfelt, I exclude train and bus tickets and direct debits including utilities. :) The ramps sound like a good idea if they will save money in the long run so hey it's not a failure! Not everyone doing the challenge will make today an NSD :) Tomorrow is another day :)

  • A stay-home-NSD for me today so 1/16 please Cathybird :)

I will be excluding necessary travel costs, medicines and YS items for February. I didn't think to do this in January but determined to reach my target in February :)
