I ready that as £5000, Happy Monday, and was thinking what on this good, green earth are you having done at the dentistHappy_Monday said:Ohhhh jam roly poly sounds good jammy dodger......
Another visit to the dentist today, over £50.00 in 2 days and less than 2 minutes in the dentist chair each visit .....anyway I’ve got antibiotics now, and apart from some nausea, I think I might be feeling a bit better. Still haven’t got another NSD though x

I’ve had an unexpected vets bill for my cat at £400.00 and £50.00 for the dentist, so it’s been a mega spendy month. I definitely couldn’t have coped with £5000!!!!1 -
I think I was being a bit to over ambitious Cathybird, what with the dentist and vets bills it’s scuppered all my plans xcathybird said:
Happy Monday, remember 20 is a pretty high target anyway in a month with 29 days and you had unexpected things that cropped up, so it can't be helped xxHappy_Monday said:Day 10 NSD for me, behind target as the blooming extra expense with the dentist put paid to my planned no spend days. Anyway can’t be helped and I’m starting to feel better now. Got a busy week next week planned and seeing as there are only 9 days left in the month I definitely won’t be getting to target 😭0 -
Well done on your NSDs jammy dodger, I can account for every penny, I’ve no spare money now to mindlessly fritter 😄 roll on pay day next week xjammy_dodger said:NSD 15/20 for me today. determined to stay on track. those unplanned expenses are a pain quite literally happy Monday some are unavoidable but at least you are aware of where the ££s are going rather than a mindless fritter away x0 -

Happy Monday, you've had lots of big expenses this month and it seems to me that's part of what we try to save money for ... so when the dentist or the vet has to be paid we've got money to do it (hopefully). So even though it feels spendy, it's good that you had the money

Yes, thank goodness for the emergency fund Cathybird 👍1
