105k asking price cut so far, is it the shop or the area?0 -
If I had half a million quid to spend, especially oop north, I would expect something with a thousand times more soul; this property is soulless. For one fifth of that, I could still find something with more character. No way, Jose. This one https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-62030181.html posted by getmore4less is in a different hemisphere tastewise, imho. OK, it's another £50k but might be open to negotiation, who knows unless you ask?

I am surprised at the choice of location - no chance I'd ever want to move next to a motorway, let alone for that kind of money!!! Overall I agree with previous posters that it is bland but location is such a massive turn-off that I wouldn't consider it for any kind of money really. (I live not too far from Cleckheaton so know the area.)

It's not a motorway its a car park and traffic jam!WeAreGhosts said:I wouldn't even look at the house.
I know someone who lives on Whitechapel Road who constantly moans about the noise from the motorway, and the constant gridlock because of the motorway junction. Took him nearly an hour to get from centre of Cleck to his house recently!Your life is too short to be unhappy 5 days a week in exchange for 2 days of freedom!0 -

50k price cut so far. There are some really nice properties in the postcode, this one isn`t anything particularly special though.0
