Ooo, been eyeing up a Shark for months and have heard really good reviews from a few colleagues who have them. Unfortunately, I have a Dyson Animal for deep clean on the weekend and Dyson stick for quick cleans through the week so can’t really justify a Shark yet!

A bit gloomy, but I found life got less stressful when I accepted things going wrong is normal life, and things not going wrong is a bonus!.
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

For sure! Same applies to work life as well...rarely do things go to plan...when they do it’s a bonus, so don’t get too down when there is a spanner thrown in the works...

Things going wrong is annoying and I suppose justifies the wise people urging us to have an emergency fund.  I had two unexpected / unplanned for expenses last year.  Firstly cat dentistry 😼 and secondly car related.  I really struggled to bring myself to dip into my emergency fund though.  I juggled budgets and managed to keep emergency fund intact.  This year I've set up a savings pots for pets and another for car as I realise I should anticipate potential costs.
glad you like the new Sha*k - I'm always amazed at the amount of "stuff" that comes out of my carpets - I'm surprised the carpet doesn't go bald.

I'm the same I hate dipping into my emergency fund and just juggle things and usually use it from another pot or something and try topping that up. Hence why I seem to have no sinking Fund left really. Oh well the next few months are being spent on topping it back up rather than paying off the CC so will all work itself out. I just want it all to be sorted and be in a good place quickly!
