greent - sorry to hear about your Nan.

Have been for a run this morning with DH, showered then off to B&Q to look at furniture paint but they didn't have quite the right colour. Returned a library book then home for lunch. Have got some washing pretty much dry on the line, had to peg it on good though as we are still having gale force winds.

Have taken the dog for a good walk in the woods, when we got home we put up the lovely £4 cupboard we bought a couple of weeks ago. Need to pick DD up from work then make tea - wraps today. DD is coming home from work each week with some very lovely Christmas cards, they haven't sold and they must be on sale or return with the manufacturer but they don't want them back so the staff can take them. These cards are all £2 to £4 - crazy that they might end up in the bin.

I feel like I have had a good start to flapping February.:D

Today I am grateful for a good night's sleep, for getting to the gym and upping the intensity of what I was able to do, for getting an nsd cos the liddle car park is minuscule and was chocka so I kept on driving home, for the 6 Nations starting.

Pleasantly stuck at home as looking after ds after his operation and all went well, but he is in for 6-8 weeks of recovery 1-3 weeks here on/off. Did a bit of raking in the garden and went for a short walk w dog. Otherwise I have basically just been relaxing.
Am grateful for NHS, for youngest ds who went out on the river up wind and up stream and didnt loose it or the race, and for long chat w my dear sister.

Ditty - hope ds recovers quickly. Lots of protein so his body can rebuild itself. Or $64,000 so 'they' can rebuild him.

    Good evening!

Had a productive day today :D Hit my first gym session of the month and started tackling some of this month's challenges... To be fair - I had already had a pretty good clear out pre-move, but still had another look.

Clothes – Been through all of my clothes and a belt and some surf shorts made the charity bag. I have had the same boxer shorts now for years... Keep thinking I need to buy some new ones but they are still in a good state of repair, if perhaps a little un trendy! I have a few best pairs haha, so I will make them do until I am once more debt free!

CD/DVDs - Aside from my collection of Who DVDs, I don't have that many DVDs, and sold a lot of my CDs too as have itunes and my taste in music has changed over the years. I have a free 6 month Spotify plan at the moment and loving how everything is on there!!!... but would I pay for it monthly...? What do others think? Anyway - rummaged out a few DVDs and a CD for the bag.

Dancing - As part of my self care routine I am taking a week off a month from parental duty as I need a life of my own. I welcomed the month in out in town clubbing - so dancing - check!

Dates - Yesterday was one, and will plan in another couple in the weeks to come.

Make Up - Well I wouldn't wear make up but have a pretty good grooming routine

Overdraught/CC - I haven't had an overdraft in years and applied to transfer my CC on to a new 0% last week. here's hoping!

Plan ahead – I am already booking in my leave for the year (will finish booking this week in work) and making sure I book a few days off extra around my weekend off.

Spending habits - I m using an expense book this year to track all my spends. Hopefully - this along with my journaling/mindfulness will help me work out spending triggers/bad habits.

Have a good evening folks, and I'll see you tomorrow x

    Sloth day, no money spent.

Grateful for a chance to let my body recover, having clean hair (needed doing but not if I was going to fall and hit my head on the bath), a pleasant day and a quiet night (no idiots on the car park).
