Morning all!Well I've managed to reinstate the sofa now after the cover dried overnight - I really need to bring the hoover down from upstairs as I noticed quite a few crumbs in the sofa when I put the cushion back in. The scatter cushions could also do with a wash as the boys constantly abuse them by throwing them on the floor and climbing all over them.None of us are dressed yet, but don't really need to go out - trying to stay in today if I can as DS2 has a terrible cough and cold and it's his 3rd birthday on Tuesday, so I want him to be feeling better by then. Plus it stops me spending any more money at the shops. I've decluttered my coffee but need to actually eat breakfast, but I've reached my daily swagbucks total so that's another thing off my daily list done.Sexymouse's To Do List
- Hoover out sofa
- Wash scatter cushions
- Transfer dates from school newsletter into phone calendar and diary
- Make sure DS1's forest school kit is ready for Thursday (it's a day earlier this week due to inset day Friday)
- Locate recipe for DS2's birthday cake
- Plan design of DS2's birthday cake
- Wash DS2's bedding and germy pillow
- Investigate potential day out on Sunday for DS2's birthday celebration
- Clean and reorganise toy shelving unit (DS1 changed it all around during a tidying session the other week and I didn't have the heart to do it then. Trouble is I can't work out his system, so I need to put it back to the old system so I can put things away in the right places.)

Hi all
I am really YorkshireLass, but despite receiving previous emails to reset my password, this one is not coming through. So for the time being I am using this user name, cant remember how I ended up with two user names but there you are. Hate the look of the new forum and I am a bit attached to my YorkshireLass name, just dont know whether I have the energy to try and sort it out. No idea what today brings, DSs GF is home for the weekend so we could go out without having to worry about looking after DS, DH is not getting out of bed at the moment though which is making me grumpy as I dont want to end up getting to 2pm and realising its too late to do anything. Hmm, will come back and see you when I am in a better mood I think.9 -
Round 1 completed + 1st WM load draped on radiators and airer, 2nd WM load has just finished swishing, didn't stop at one bowl of WUDUPA but kept going and got the lot done: pots, pans, baking trays and stuff for recycling (imagine clappy hand smiley). Go me
Good to see old friends appearing through the maze of accessing the new look thread - hope we don't lose anyone!
Better get that second load sorted and third load swishing

Poor poorly DS2 has just fallen asleep on my lap - he's feeling so bad he virtually cried himself to sleep.
It's horrible now he's more aware of how rotten colds can feel. Don't want to put him down as he'll only be small for so long and he sounds so peaceful as he's upright.

Good morning
Parkrun done - a bit faster than last week! I have had a cuppa & a shower, so need to get dressed and have brunch. I cleaned a bit of black mould in the shower, but it needs a proper clean still. I may tackle the bathroom tomorrow as I won’t be going anywhere! I may try and put up a lust later Tom motivate myself. Have a good day everyone.
oh, I forgot to say - thanks for the posi-vibes. DH’s car passed its MOT with only a new tyre & new wipers needed! I will get around to paying them later......8 -
Ah - it all becomes so much clearer on the tablet than on the phone. I can’t figure out why everything that I type looks double spaced though! And HUGE! I’m missing the emojis too, but that might just be my incompetence.
2nd load through the wm, duster flicked round the bedroom as the temptation to write in the dust threatened to get too great.
DD’s phone is finally trying to give up, so I need to sort that out. Thank goodness for my unspent Christmas bonus. I ought to do HH paperwork x gazillion at the same time but it is a beautiful day out there so I might just go and take a peek in the greenhouse.....

I'm dressed & have eaten brunch. I need to make a list!!
Put on WM
Put on DW
Wash up what won't fit in the DW
Phone 3 - I have had no internet for a week!! (only wifi)
That'll do for starters - I will report back when I'm done 😀8 -

I'm not terribly enamoured of this new format, I have to say! Oh well, I don't often get on here these days, so I guess it doesn't matter.Vacuum and printer both turned up their toes this week, so can't vac up the bits of the Great Outdoors current guest Bessie keeps tracking in, nor print out her photo for my Rogues' Gallery til Amazon have delivered the replacements. Luckily, I had sufficient vouchers stashed away to cover both items. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)9

I also have DS1 on the case of hoovering out my car as it's got very grubby and the weather is due to turn tonight from the lovely sunshine we have at the moment. The grim pushchair that we use when out in town (DS2 will often eat Gregg's vegan sausage rolls etc in it) has been given a good hoovering out too, so is looking much better. WM is on with DS2's pillow in it along with the covers for the scatter cushions, and there's a washload in the TD as well. DH is heading to Home Bargains after work to pick up some more boxes of tissues as we're going through them at a rate of knots and only have 2 boxes left in the house. It's recycling collection on Monday, so have been decluttering the car of receipts and need to do a 27 fling boogie around the house.
