Parking obstruction

Just checked our deeds and the red line includes the half of the road in front of our bungalow and the reading states we own the road, although only a little bit because it's so narrow.
But how do we enforce it, according to Canterbury City Council, even though we and our neighbour opposite own the road, we would have to start legal proceedings which would be costly. We were also told we could only phone the police to get her to move the car if it was an emergency and she was preventing us exiting the drive.
If she is parking opposite yours, then you don't own that bit, so can't wave your deeds about. The neighbour who owns the bit where she parks needs to wave her deeds about.
The car owner, once faced with deeds, will usually give up. They think you're just lying/making it up to suit your own fantasy.
You need to wave both sets of deeds at her, point to the road, point to the deeds, explain. Then suggest she parks where she's supposed to and if you don't know where that is that's not your problem, that's a problem for her to return to her LL with.
Where I lived, I had a site plan, showing everybody's land ownership, not just my own. Having a whole road plan would make it easier to show who owns what and what her LL owns.... but it's really not your problem once she's off either your land, or the land of the neighbour over the road.
Remember: Right now, she thinks you're being an awkward miserable old cuss who is making things up. You have to show her the facts.0 -

My one worry is that if I'm taken as seriously ill as I was last time, my husband will have to leave me to bang on her door down the road so he can get off the drive and get me to hospital again.0

I told her we would and she shrugged her shoulders. But I've been warned that would be trespass and could lead to all sorts of other problems and there has never been any problems in the close till now.0 -
Unfortunately there isn't another solution beyond those you've been given. She'll either heed what you're telling her or she won't and if the latter, it's down to legal proceedings.0

Start doing your shopping at 5am and ask her to move the car every few mornings and then again when you get back with said shopping. Be really mega polite about it and eventually it will hack her off enough to find another spot0

Do you drive in and reverse out of the driveway?0

Buy an old banger and block the LL's drive.0
