have had a look around and have found 'think pads' reconditioned, but don't know what they are.

everything else is Apple or Chrome neither of which I want.

the think pads come with Windows 7 but am assuming I can upgrade by myself..........

wanted to save/use the old laptop due to financial constraints and also.......what do I do with a hardly used laptop.........throwing it away is against everything I am trying to be...........

Windows 10 licence can cost from £2. But I wouldn't worry about that at first, since Windows 10 will work fine without a product key.

So you are looking at £20 or so to refurb your laptop if you do the work yourself. It's easy enough with our help.
