  • Interestingly, I've just received a call from the MP's office.  The lady I spoke with was very sympathetic but she said because I had admitted I hadn't paid for a ticket, they couldn't help.  I didn't expect to get much from the MP's office, so no loss there!

Hi all, I've got the SARS and some free time to put together my defence.  I've got @bargepole's template for setting out the defence letter (which is most appreciated by the way) but I'm just wondering if you could give me some hints on the best place to start with it? I appreciated there are lots of examples of successful defences on this website and I'm happy (sort of) to trawl through and find something along the lines of my own situation but is there a more scientific way of doing this? I mean, I don't have a clue what I'm defending, if I'm frank.  I don't expect anyone to do the leg work for me, everyone's been incredibly helpful and I'm very grateful but could someone have a look at my SAR and just give me their opinion?
    Thanks all!

There is a new post written by Coupon-mad posted within the last couple of day containing a link to a drop box file with a Template for Defence.  This is for all PPCs except Parking Eye.  Look back over the last two days to search for Coupon-mad's name using advanced search.

Thanks, @Le_Kirk! Thats more than I was hoping for!
I've deleted my SAR as I probably should delete my name and address from the letter first, so I'll re-upload it ASAP.

  • Hi all,
first of all, thanks for pointing me in the direction of the template.  I've just spent about 2 hours writing it all out again as it didn't look right when I opened it and I also wish I hadn't left it quite so late but I couldn't have come up with something so well worded like that so, a big thank you to the writer ( @Coupon-mad , I believe?).
Attached is my defence.  If you guys could take a look, it really would be appreciated.  I also want to mention when I got to point 20 (point 21 of my version) I left the part out about the landowners company number because I haven't been able to establish who the landowner is.  The other thing was that appendix C isn't in the template.  Does anybody have a copy they could give me, please?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and getting this filed before 4pm tomorrow!
  • I've also had another threatening letter from BW Legal telling me to pay up or they'll enter a CCJ against me!

  • @1505grandad I think I clicked add image, rather than add file and so it didn't upload  :#

After reading this forum, you will realise that BWLegal talk utter crap. Of course they cannot enter a CCJ against you ...... they are simply a jumped up legal who are well above their station in life. Only a judge can decide about a CCJ and not a very poor excuse for a "Kray Twins" style operation who keep getting spanked in court for false claims ...... Nobody can take BWL seriously ... even the courts, they are a complete joke .

The BWLegal case I attended confirmed this, they even signed a statement of truth which was an outright lie

The quicker the SRA understand that this bunch are not fit for purpose, the better humanity will be.
