I don't know.... I haven't really thought about it...but I should start to plan for that. I would be really happy if I could get it below £2999 by Christmas. I have to get through this next month and then seriously work out how and when I am going pay this one off. Thanks for asking.... That has got me thinking!Kakiste said:When do you reckon you'll be debt free?Store card £140 £117 - Store card £150 - Overdraft £200 - PayPal £364 - Loan 1 £5052 - Loan 2 £1733 - Credit card £2890 - Car hire purchase £3200 - Savings £0.2 -

Tomorrow, my last loan payment will be paid. This feels like a huge deal for me. I've been paying this for 60 months and I have really struggled to pay it. I can say with some confidence that I am cured of my habit to pay off credit card debt with loans! I've learned this lesson late but I have learned it now!
5 years ago when I took this loan out, I was in a pretty bad place. I was burned out at work, trying to juggle a pretty stressful job with a small child. I felt very depressed at that time. I was spending wildly and trying to keep up with contributing half with my housemate (who is my husband legally but absolutely not my soul mate in any way.... I can't even bring myself to refer to him as my husband!).
I have made lots of progress in terms of managing my mental health and getting my spending under control and paying off my debt. Things are so much more stable with work and home.
So, I will retire this diary and use my latest one... Its time to throw everything at my final debt, my credit card.
Thank you so much for reading and commenting and cheering me on!
I can't say how grateful I am and how much that support has helped.
