Hello
I got a piece of paper today and I drew out 10 boxes with £50 in each box. I will be able to block out 4 boxes on the 25th February. I can block out another 3 on the 25th March. So that leaves me with 3 boxes to block out between now and the 25th March. I'm babysitting tonight and next Friday. That will be one box blocked out. Perhaps I can make £50 from selling stuff. I am on a mission to block out those boxes!

You're doing so so well Pidge! You're going to make it. Not having an overdraft anymore feels great. All your money starts in the black and it is has such a positive mental effect. Keep going xxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Thank you so much!
I paid off my main account overdraft at Christmas and that has really spurred me on to clear this one on the bills account. I want to throw every penny I've got at that!

At one point we were £20,000 in debt. For me the best route was consolidation and one credit card which I paid off each month. My OH does not handle money, if he has it, he spends it, so it was all down to me. I managed to pay the loan off early by chucking any money left at the end of the month onto it........so the last 2 years have been debt free. I do use my credit card, especially if I buy anything over £100. thanks to Martin Lewis's advice. You can do it. You just have to turn into a semi miser/tightwad for a while.3

I have given myself a good talking to!
I hit a slump but I have pulled myself together!
I have 4 payments left on my loan. My regular £227.52 plus I have set up a standing order for £44 for 4 months. I will be free of this in time for my 45th birthday!
I have £250 left to pay off my final overdraft which I will do on 27th of this month. I am getting a good amount of babysitting jobs coming in. Then I will be overdraft free!
I am focusing on those two debts. My credit card is still high but when that is my sole debt, I will really focus on that.
This is exhausting, all consuming and dispiriting but I will get this done. This is not forever.

Well done on your journey. You sound like me! The only thing I have done differently was switch two bank accounts, so I have free money, which got rid off my overdraft. So might help you too. Sorry my question mark does not work.1
