It's one of the one's on the way into the car park that can't be avoided *grumbles*

We tend to only do top up shops there now.

Money shuffle is done for this month, and spreadsheet updated with this CC month's spending so far (which is fairly low).

Have been back doing some prolific surveys having gotten out of the habit of checking.

I don't have much to update right now; everything feels in limbo....

I did make a GP appointment to request to be referred for something. And I also asked if I would be eligible for the covid vaccination due to my job. Receptionist didn't know but has sent a message to the Covid team asking them, so we'll see what happens.

I know what you mean about limbo, I know a few others feeling that way after the "odd" Christmas period.
Doesn't quite seem like a normal January does it?

Car headlight stopped working again. Cue panic due to being on-call. I bought a second hand light unit from a scrap yard and got that fitted instead of phaffing about trying to figure out what was going on. Another £70 I could have done without spending tbh but it was worth it because I got that fixed on Monday, and then was called out in the middle of Wednesday night.

Feeling especially good about that call because it's been so long... almost a year since the last time I went out. Deffo feeling the love there

Almost up to £5 on prolific again. Lots of little ones worth 25p etc. No TTs at the moment because of the short wages. I'm expecting that to balance out over the year though, due to Himself's wage rise from April.

    Hope everyone is well

Glad you managed to get the light fixed and the call out went well.
Replacing it should also give you peace of mind that it's a permanent fix.

Well. One month to go until the job change! This month's bill paying period has ended with us not overdrawn, which is nice, but the emergency buffer that I worked so hard on last year is almost gone. The redundancy paperwork has been completed and returned. We made a list of things we wanted to sort out as soon as it comes through, but a large portion of it will go directly into savings.

Other things are going on as well, but I'm not ready to discuss those yet.

I OPed £5.26 from Prolific on Feb 9th, and I'm almost up to another £5.
