I checked my NOW broadband account last night and I looked at my future bill for Feb 2020 and it will be £35 for Super fibre and £8 for Anytime call making it £43 pm in total. I was paying £30 pm.

I will try an contact NOW over the weekend and see if they can give me a lower deal

I tried to buy Sky's £25 fibre + anytime calls yesterday going through Quidco for £65 cashback and I got near to the end and it said something like can not continue with order contact Sky. It said nothing about having been a fibre customer in the past year as I left 15 Feb 2019 and I have mentioned this in the thread before.

I contacted Sky and went through all the same details and I was told that as I have left within 12 months no deal. I said that when the connection is live it will be over 12 months but she said the time starts from when the customer places the order.

She went off for a bit and came back with an offer of £35 for all the same deal as the £25 offer so I said how can I have that deal if I left within 12 months and she said her "boss" said the £35 deal Sky can put through but not the £25 one even though the order date would be the same. I said no.

Contacted NOW broadband and the best offer was £36 for fibre (80/20) speeds and anytime calls reduced from £43.99 but dearer than the current deal of £30. So I am now looking about for a lower priced option.

Surely this is untrue as they can't charge you when they are not yet your supplier.
I usually wait until 8 to 10 days left on a fixed term, meaning that a movw would only cost a few days at full price before the move.
I am with PlusNet and called as mentioned above. In this case the period does run from the date you agree to the new terms, but there is then a refund for prepaid items, which are not used and there is no break in service.

teddysmum is this meant for me(Boohoo) ?
This new forum layout is taking a lot of getting used to.
If your quote/reply is for me then Sky said I cant have the £25 all in deal as I left less than 365 days ago but I could have their special deal.
I have 7 days left to run on the 1 year min term with NOW broadband and it takes 14 days from when the order is placed to goes live.

The Sky offer ended on 6/02/2020 so if they had taken my order I would of been past the min term with NOW so no ETC's. I did wonder if it was because I was using Quidco that Sky declined the online order and wanted me to call and order so then Sky do not have to pay commission.
