    Morning all

Another full day of paid stuff awaits, have already done an hour or so, have just taken a ‘break’ during which I...

    Had breakfast
    Made bed
Emptied, washed and refilled litter trays
    Put dishes away
Folded and put away laundry from yesterday
    Started WM swishing
    S/s kitchen
Quick vac of downstairs... fluffy cats fighting again!
Made a second cuppa to take back to my desk...

I have a really long meeting this afternoon so I must make sure I take another break before that, will try and get out for some fresh air during that time.

Have a good day all, hugs to any poorlies, sticks, spoons etc available for any in need x
  • Hi, All,

My flying yesterday was to give the cooker a clean after making it mucky the evening before.

Meal planning and food shopping list for tonight, along with the ironing and putting clothes away.

    Have successful days today!
  • Yesterday was a complete write-off - migraine all-day and problems getting home from work-left work at 4.45, got home 8.45 :eek: hoping I can make up for that tonight!!

Slow day today with nothing much to report.

Had a chilled start to the day with the dog on my lap so just enjoying it as we haven't had her long and just appreciating how well she is settling. Call from DS who had just finished at the hospital and wanted to go for coffee. One on one time with my boy is always good so appreciated the call and walk out with him.

Not much done since I'm back. DH has the microwave in bits in the kitchen but apart from that, it's ok. Cant take Doogie out just yet as it can't decide if it wants to rain outside. You can bet your life if I decide to go out it will chuck it down so staying put currently.

Have reset the passwords on my email account as managed to lock everything up yesterday so I need to sync all the other devices and I have a job application to complete.

Flying might be done somewhere but may just amount to going around with a cobweb brush as I saw some beautiful ones in the bathroom.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Evening all...just lurking ATM with some fluttering on odd occasions. I'm keeping up to date with the dailies but not much else as I'm trying to finish off the dining room renovations. I'm pleased with the result,ts so far, but still a fair bit to complete before the end of January.

We are having a very wet time of things and have needed to rod and pump through our waste/septic tank system due to the water levels, which is grim. I had to drive through some fairly scary flood water on Wednesday, which, if I hadn't been late for the school run, may have felt exhilarating. Instead, my heart was thumping in my throat as the water was hitting the windscreen on my van. I'm used to driving through flood water but this was flowing over hedgerows and taking branches with it, which was quite a sight  I did bottle it at one section as I could see a car abandoned just before a bridge (which was only visible as it has tall columns at the part where it spans the river) with water halfway up the doors, so I turned round and went a different way, which wasted valuable minutes, but meant I didn't get stranded.

    Gotta love Wales...
  • Evening everyone

Sorry not been around for weeks. Have sort of lost my mojo.

Still fighting a losing battle with DH and his obsessive buying of books and DVDs.
To cap it all mum has been in hospital and needed a blood transfusion.
This looks like it will be an on-going thing due to her anaemia.

Have only just about managed to keep up with my dailies

I have been munching a huge frog for most of the day - I'm not finished but I have made excellent progress.

    I have also ironed, so that's up-to-date.

    Dizzy that sounds scary.
Busy week, only skim read thread.
Usual round of gym, filling bird feeders, discussion with builders, back to uni and done 2 assessments, drumming.
Flying has been of the "keeping up" nature, but house looks reasonably ok.
Have decluttered space on bookshelf by spending Amazoo vouchers to replace 10 books with the Kindle versions.
But. . . Fanfare. . . We have a kitchen floor :j The new vinyl still needs to be laid and more permanent propping up of the shifted granite worktops but it's a start.

We're away for a dance weekend from tomorrow lunchtime.

Kazmeister Tuesday was definately up hon. It was Thursday I missed off the list.. Hopefully you can see a Tuesday list now.

Sorry for missing Thursday's list guys, but it's up now with Friday's one for tomorrow.

Dizzy that sounds very scary with the floods. Hope you are ok.
I'm also hoping you dont get too many floods as we are going to be moving by the end of the year to Wales..and the idea of those sort of floods fill me with dread.
