Yay, Skint's here! :j Great to see you! :hello:

Today my mission is to declutter a [STRIKE]bit[/STRIKE] lot of stress, i.e. keep warm and fed, catch up with sleep, collect Rosie at 4.30 pm, and monitor my BP as per the practice nurse's instructions. DH is on a strict diet for the 4 days before a procedure on Wednesday, and didn't do much about it while I was out yesterday, so today didn't start well when I caught him putting out the cereal bowls as usual!

Anyway, I have caught up with the thread whilst doing the first BP check and it is well within normal-for-me parameters, so thank you Flyfriends for getting me over the first hurdle of the day :T:T:T

    Morning

    Welcome aboard Rosie

Yesterday afternoon was more of a flutter than a fly but I managed to: slosh bleach down the loo; do a 3rd WM load; take up the boxed Christmas tree and unused Christmas cards and put them away; spend a lot of time looking on-line for a new (to me) car; spend time with DB trying to find a way to disable my car alarm which is currently going off at random times (like 4am ) but totally refused to react to any violent motion that DB put it through :rotfl:; have a coffee and a natter with DB; finish my book and start another one ….erm that's it, I think :D

DS and GF went in to town and brought me back a new clothes prop :T. My old one sheared in half in the wind last weekend! So, I'm planning to hang out washing today - woot woot. (Simple things ;))

    Round 1 =
    get washed and dressed
    feed the birds
    WUDUPA one bowl of pots
    rinse and recycle 12 cans
put out the cardboard for recycling
    WM x 1
    breakfast

Have a good day. Go steady - frosty out there this morning.

Haha! Me too, only Earl Grey (black, no sugar) not coffee.

I've been up most of the night on and off with a very whiney dog, who clearly thought sleeping in the lounge with the riff-raff was beneath him  I gave in at 5am and brought him upstairs and not a peep after that...

Small people fed, WM and TD both on and pups playing in the orchard with the collie. The ground has had a hard frost, so walking round the garden may not be so much like splashing through a paddy field, at least until it thaws.

Football later (inside, thank goodness) then, if I get my FA in gear, a roast dinner of some kind.
    Laters all xxx

PS Natty - I do live on a flood plain, in the bow of a river that is fed by a huge dam about 20 miles away, in a 500 year old house, built without foundations or a DPC and partially below ground level, with a deep underground well outside the back door which is fed by a small stream that runs under the house and this part of Wales is prone to water troubles...head for the hills if you can - it's drier up there (but a total nightmare in the snow...sorry, I'm not helping to ease your worries, am I?)

Cooker hob cleaned yesterday. Took some doing. You could tell I'd not been in the kitchen for what feels like months.
I'm looking forward to starting a new week flying tomorrow.
