They might be free from plusnet mobiles, but that isn't what was said.
However, 0845 numbers are premium rate, as are all 084, 087 and 09 numbers, and Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 bans the operation of these numbers for after-sales enquiries and issues, irrespective of whether the charges are discounted or waived when called from certain phones.
These 0845 numbers should not even be live, yet alone being offered. The regulations require a number starting 01, 02, 03 or 080.
Where 084, 087 or 09 numbers are offered, there are specific Ofcom regulations requiring the premium rate charges to be declared immediately alongside the number, everywhere it is mentioned.0 -
Speak to the customer retentions team. They will usually match other providers prices if you speak politely to them. I was with them for seven years and often managed to get a cheaper deal than the year before and retain my free evening and weekend calls package.
Have spoken to them twice and they refuse to match any other offers just say I had a good deal last year and they cannot do it again. Have been with them 6 years who ar you with now?0 -
