Get my money from a US bank

I have some money in an American bank but live in UK. How can I get it back to my UK bank without visiting USA? I don't have an American mobile phone number which seems to be the big problem and there are no cash machines in this country.

There are around 70,000 cash machines in the UK, so not sure what you mean by "no cash machines in this country." Do you have a US$ debit card with the account?
Are you wanting paper US$, or to convert it to £? How much are we taking about? Would a TransferWise Borderless Account be useful? Can your US bank wire it to a UK bank?

Only issue being if you don't have a US social security number most US banks wont let you ACH or wire money to another account and many of the forex sites dont allow cheque payments.....0

At the absolute worst, if you have your check book from your US account, write yourself a check from it and pay it into your UK account. I say this as "at the absolute worst" because it will almost certainly be slower and more expensive than any other method of pulling money across, with a clearance time possibly in months and fees that could easily go north of £50 depending on amount.
I have no idea what you mean about there being no cash machines in this country mind you, cashpoints that take foreign cards are absolutely everywhere. You'd probably have to be living way out in the sticks to completely avoid an ATM that takes basically any foreign card you can care to mention.urs sinserly,
