Putting "Gladstones email" - including the quotation marks -  into the forum's search facility returned this post (amongst others)...

I have now sent off my WS via email to the court and GSL. I'll update after the hearing in 2 weeks.

No, you just search the forum for Gladstones email...we will not search for people.

  • Yes you will - judges' orders are always posted out. (If you're lucky they may be emailed too).

I would suggest that the Judge has just given Gladstones a choice to cancel or continue, more so a chance to cancel.
It is not unusual for these legal reps to not have further evidence. Gladstones should take heed

To get the date in Dec, just phone the court
I think it was more of a chance to cancel, because he brought it to their attention that the sign was too high, their submitted copy of the signage was unreadable and there were no road markings on the floor.

I am surprised the judge has let this linger given how busy the courts are especially with dodgy car park claims.  The court seem to be on your side and now, it is firmly in the ball court of Gladstones who will knowingly continue on the basis that the claim is struck out and you can claim costs

Not good for Gladstones or their client

I wonder how long that the judge has allocated? I bet it is at least two hours (costly). Sometimes though even when the PPC has been told indirectly by the judge to put up or shut up they still carry on.

Not another adjournment!  Why can't judges be stronger?  No need to answer that - it's one of those what do you call them, rhetorical questions.
