I would suggest that the Judge has just given Gladstones a choice to cancel or continue, more so a ch
I am surprised the judge has let this linger given how busy the courts are especially with dodgy car park claims.  The court seem to be on your side and now, it is firmly in the ball court of Gladstones who will knowingly continue on the basis that the claim is struck out and you can claim costs

Not good for Gladstones or their client
I didn't put in any claim for costs with my WS because i just want this over and done with. But why will they continue on the basis  that the claim could be struck out if its not good for them, sorry i just didn't understand what that meant.

That's good to hear. Well done.

Though it might be prudent to give the court a ring to confirm with them that the claim really has been discontinued.

Wow, pretty much all Gladstones/UKCPM ones are being discontinued right now!  Nicely done, that's a win.

ANOTHER GLADSTONES / UKCPM ONE BITES THE DUST!

Was there any discussion on costs at the original hearing?  Did you take time off work to 'attend' it?  Loss of earnings/annual leave was all that would have been in play - but that could be up to £95.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
