It makes sense i know.
But life had been so tough for last few years.
We havent had a break or a holiday in 6 years.
So most of that money is going towards Florida next year as all our family is going and my sister is getting married over there .0 -

But what are you going to about your debt?
Your have a debt repayment shortfall of £342 every month. That means, assuming your SOA is correct, that your level of debt will increase by £4,104 over the next twelve months.
You really need to consider a DMP, so that your interest and fees get frozen, and so that your payment plan will allow your SOA to balance out. I would ring National Debtline if I were you, so that you can explore all options in detail.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

If that is the case you have no choice but to seriously cut back on everything and do everything you can to bring more money in.
I agree that you haven't fully had your lightbulb moment yet.

Well done for posting. One question, should there be a house value listed in assets?0

Hi I could possibly pay the store credit off with the sale of the car
I know they are both 0% but it would free up 80per month.
House value is 165000
I owe 125000.
But we are having a dormer built if we can hopefully remortgage in 3 years time as we need the space and extra bedroom.0 -
How much is your car worth if you were to sell it and buy a cheap runabout? You could then use the profit to fund your trip to Florida. Your savings could then be reallocated to your debts, as suggested earlier.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

This leads onto a broader discussion. Why do people expect their family members & friends to get into debt to go to their wedding etc? My to be sister-in-law was floating the idea of her HEN DO at a spa in BALI!!! HELLO I am just about to pay off £25k worth of debt so I won't be forking out thousands on this ridiculous trip. It's madness. My wedding will be at the registry office with a bbq in the back garden. Job done! :rotfl:"Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits" Thomas Edison
