Has anyone else had their access to surveys restricted for inconsistent answers? I have always answered honestly. Not sure what to do now
Many people have over time although they keep offering me a 50% bonus for completing them (probably because I hardly ever touch them as apart from the occasional userzoom one they pay so very poorly - frequently the equivalent of less than £2 per hour)

MollyR, did you resolve the referral link problem from last Swago? I'm now having the same problem, I think.

All that Customer Support could offer was "get your friend to raise a ticket and we will link her account to yours" - which is not the sort of hassle that a new member really wants!  What is more, it would not have ticked off my Swago.
So I tested and tested, using a dummy invitation address rather than a real person's one, to try and resolve the problem.  I tried using private browsing windows, to no avail;  then I realised that both my husband and I use the same (static) IP, and one or two friends in the past (pre-lockdown) have signed up here in my house so that I could talk them through the process, and I wondered whether it was my IP address which was perhaps causing suspicion as I did the testing.  So I tested out the dummy invitation address through a spoofed IP, and that one worked - I could sign up a fake account with it.
But it certainly doesn't explain why, suddenly, real people on totally different IP addresses from mine couldn't sign up using my invitations, and I am still bewildered - unless perhaps SB are building up a database of IPs, and rejecting anything they have seen used before.  But since most IPs - in this country at least, I don't know about the US - are dynamic rather than static, that would be a recipe for disaster!
So no, I don't have an answer to the problem, I'm afraid.

Thanks, MollyR. I don't think I can be bothered to put a ticket in as I'm running out of viable referrals anyway and from what you say, it looks like I'd be wasting my time. My referrals rarely continue to use SB after having an initial play with it. Appreciate your lengthy response :)

Some of you may be interested in knowing my experience.  This evening I noticed that my SB balance does not change after finishing a survey. I logged out and try to log back in again. As you can imagine I saw the well known webpage asking me to confirm my country of residency. I confirmed it and then my account became under review for up to 30 days.

Meanwhile I did remain log in from another browser. I went to help section and saw a new ticket raised on my behalf "My account needs more information - Please review ASAP." This must be an automatically generated ticket because I didn't raise it.

In the ticket "I" wrote: Please help me get back into my account.
There is also a reply at the same time of ticket being raised:

"Thank you for taking the time to follow-up regarding your account closure.

After further review of your account, our team has confirmed our decision that your account will remain closed for noncompliance with our Terms of Service.

To continue providing all of our members with great services and Rewards, we prohibit any unauthorized activity that could negatively impact our community and site.

Please keep in mind that your case is officially closed and this will be a final resolution to this issue."

I think I don't need to wait and check it again after 30 days....byebye swagbucks. (silly me still have 1900 SB in my account and over 850 bonus SB for March - the hardest month I have worked on Swagbucks)

Instant surveys are mobile only, they stopped working through the website sometime last year unfortunately..
They work if you open your browser on your mobile and go to Swagbucks.com - I haven't got them working in either of the Swagbucks apps.
There is another thread on here where people post when a swag code is currently active

Many thanks. Have been contributing over there. :)

Oh, and finally, after about 3 days, the Hideout TV people got back to me with an email link to confirm my account so I think I am up and running. I can now see how many points for the videos watched etc. I signed up from following the Adscend route from Discover???  I'm assuming I need to watch all my videos via the same route to get credited through SB not Hideout directly???
No, you don't need to follow that route at all - I have the various Hideout sites bookmarked in my browser, and go there direct every day..  (Same thing for the Theorem Reach surveys, rather than going through Revenue Universe every day.)  As Kantankrus_Mare says, you only need to link your Hideout account to Swagbucks when you want to redeem your Hideout points for SB.
To be honest, I'm wanting to do what is simplest, because I am already finding Swagbucks confusing enough. I think it's probably better for me to be trying to extract money from fewer different websites... But of course, I may change my mind later on.

Good tip, thank you. Will give that a try.
