OK, it's more of a faff than simply copying and pasting the details of a gift card, but it is (at the moment, anyway) considerably better value in Swagbucks terms.

I found this a nightmare to setup, but worked out afterwards that there is occasionally a glitch that lasts a day or so and if you just wait a few days it's fine.  Now I use this exclusively to get £5 Amazon gift voucher credits.  It's the best value and is quite simple once you've done it a few times.

Wondering about Redeem a Swag Code from the Swag Button on SWAGO... Does that mean buying something?
Also about these instant surveys... I usually do surveys on my laptop so new to the app(s)... Are they short term ones where you have to be quick?

I'm also unsure why is there the need for both a Swagbucks app and an Answer app when ther's already an answer section in the main app????  I thought I had done a survey and a survey disqualify for Swago but they weren't there and I had to do some more in Answer app???

Oh, and finally, after about 3 days, the Hideout TV people got back to me with an email link to confirm my account so I think I am up and running. I can now see how many points for the videos watched etc. I signed up from following the Adscend route from Discover???  I'm assuming I need to watch all my videos via the same route to get credited through SB not Hideout directly??? 
Steep learning curve for all this stuff and thank you so much for all the advice.

Mousetrap......with the Hideout app, when the time comes to you wanting to cash out, you go onto redeem points and you can link different sites to it. I dont use mine for swagbucks as its a poor return but easy to swap where you want to redeem them to if you use several sites. I redeem to neobux.

Instant surveys are mobile only, they stopped working through the website sometime last year unfortunately.
Swag Codes are usually put out once a day in the early evening (4-7pm) and are worth usually 2 or 3SB. I think they're usually put up on SB's facebook or other official social meda and usually last an hour or so to redeem them, You enter the code on the website, or in the case of the SWAGO board square, enter it into the redeem box on the Swag Button browser extension - so install that for whatever browser you're using - I only ever turn on the extension to enter the code, I don't need it at any other time, but I believe it also alerts you to when a swag code is available.
There is another thread on here where people post when a swag code is currently active, and there are websites like sbcodez.com that also post them vigilantly.

No, you don't need to follow that route at all - I have the various Hideout sites bookmarked in my browser, and go there direct every day..  (Same thing for the Theorem Reach surveys, rather than going through Revenue Universe every day.)  As Kantankrus_Mare says, you only need to link your Hideout account to Swagbucks when you want to redeem your Hideout points for SB.

Mine changed yesterday. It’ll take some getting used to but I think it’s better overall. The last layout was very dated.

Has anyone else had their access to surveys restricted for inconsistent answers? I have always answered honestly. Not sure what to do now
