I shared the ispy code as I didn't realise you were not meant to share it, will not share again.  Just out of interest is that an MSE rule or a Swagbucks rule?

It's swagbucks - they say that unlike their normal codes they want the people who make the effort to get the reward (cannot really see how they can enforce it)

I've just seen a Swagcode was added to the specific thread at 3.11 pm by @silverfairy.  I mention it here as I was first to "thank" the post so those alerts may not be going out.

I have sent an e-mail to the appropriate address in the Forum FAQs, as follows.

"Notifications of new posts to the board "Swagbucks Codes Thread CODES ONLY PLEASE" have not been sent out for a few days now.  This is important, because people subscribed to the board wait for such notifications to tell them that a short-term money-making opportunity has arisen.  When the new-style forum was put in place, the administration team forcefully forbade members to echo codes posted on that board into the general Swagbucks board, currently "Swagbucks 2020", and it was even strongly discouraged to post to Swagbucks 2020 a notification that a code had been posted to the Codes Thread.  This means that it is now very difficult for members to share the information about Swagbucks codes.  Notifications about new posts to Swagbucks 2020 are being sent out as they should, and we can see no reason why notifications about new posts to Swagbucks Codes are no longer being sent out, so can only assume that it is a technical problem of some kind.  I would be very grateful if somebody could please look into this."

After all, we can't expect them to know there is a problem unless we tell them, and we can't expect Board Guides to be watching every post every day to see whether a problem is under discussion here.

I have had a response, as follows: "Thank you for getting in touch and letting us know. It looks like some of our notifications are getting caught in spam filters and we have flagged this to our techies. In the mean time please check your spam folder, the messages may have got caught up in there."

I have replied: "I can confirm that they are most certainly NOT getting caught up in my spam filters, nor am I the only one who is no longer receiving these particular notifications.  I cannot see that notifications for one specific board on the forum would be vulnerable to spamtraps whereas others would bypass them entirely.  I strongly suspect that they are not being sent out at all.  If you ask a Board Guide to look at the board, they will see that several people have said they are not receiving these notifications any more, and not one has said that they are still receiving them.  I know it is a simple response to blame the user, but in this case it is not the solution."

Further response: "As per our last mail, we are aware that this is a problem, it is affecting other areas of the Forum and has been passed to our techies to investigate. Some users have found the notifications in their spam folders, which is why we advise users to check as the notifications are leaving our systems correctly."
