Thanks - but the blog says "You’ll have until 7:59 AM BST on Tuesday, August 4th" so the "August 3 at 12AM PT" refers to midnight 3rd/4th August their time.  In other words, we need to cash in the Swago before 8am on Tuesday 4th.
I am absolutely horrified about this.  The blog clearly says as I have quoted it above - but when I go to the Swago this morning, it has closed.  I have raised a ticket, pointing out that they have either got it wrong on closing the Swago or got it wrong in what they said in the blog - but in any case it is not any Swagbucks user's fault if they believed that they had until today to cash in the Swago, and that I want to be credited with my 300SB (I had completed the board).
My sincere apologies for posting based on what the blog said and thereby causing anybody else to miss out on cashing in their Swago.

I hope you get the SBs, I did on the last board when they changed this way of writing when it closes and I missed out.  It seems very misleading the way they write it as we've got used to reading it the old way.

It's not just misleading, it's downright untrue.  The blog clearly says "The next Swago Board starts at 8AM BST on Monday, July 27th. You’ll have until 7:59 AM BST on Tuesday, August 4th to submit your board", so the error - whether in the blog or on the closure of the Swago - is evidently theirs.

    Molly,
I hope you succeed (i think you will under the circs)!  I always go by whatever the Swago page says and convert the time because they seem to struggle to convert PT to GMT themselves.  I did doubt myself when I saw your post yesterday though because the Blog did say what you said and it could have gone either way (the Board said 12 AM PT 3 August)..

The "12 am" is in itself dodgy;  I don't see why there should be 60 seconds of difference between the US and the UK!  If they said "11:59 pm" we would all know where we stood;  but one learns in primary school than noon and midnight are neither am nor pm, and that midnight in particular needs further specification at to which day it refers to.  After all, this is why the clocks all over the world do not go forward or back at midnight, but at 1 or 2am!

    Hi MollyR
Thank you for posting the above, can you please tell me how you posted a ticket? I've been looking on the Swagbucks Community and there seems to be people complaining about not being able to submit a ticket.  I can't find a suitable topic to use in Customer Support.  I only have 50 sbs but I would like to have them credited all the same.  I've only previously had to submit a ticket for missing survey payouts.
Please don't apologise for Swagbucks error, the only time I didn't submit my Swago board, was the one time I missed your alert post, so I for one find your posts of tremendous help and thank you very much.

I agree with sonjaday, it's not your mistake, it's theirs. Let's hope they do the right thing and credit us.

Thank you for your kind words, Sonjaday!  No, I couldn't find an approriate topic either - so I just sent an e-mail to <support@csswagbucks.zendesk.com> which is the address from which the ticket responses come, and am keeping my fingers crossed.  @BiscuitMonster, how did you raise the ticket you refer to?
  • I tried to log in this evening and recieved a message that my account has been deactivated. I emailed customer support and they replied within a few minutes that it is standard procedure and I need to in a picture of a photo ID? Has anyone else had this?
Just bumping this question whilst the board is active today to see if anyone has had this experience?
