nosferatu1001, as a "Newbie" I actually don't understand why there is so much hostility? This is not about impatience, it's about genuine concern. I didn't look back on my previous thread because from my recollection, it was predominantly talking about my defence. I don't have time to sit trawling through endless messages to find the answer I'm looking for. However, since you are telling me everything is on the "Newbie Board" including everything I need to know about mediation, preparing a witness statement and the things I don't/won't understand etc. etc. I shouldn't ask any questions? I'm not here to have an argument with anyone. I came to this board as I believed there were people on here who genuinely wanted to help. I now feel unable to ask any further questions. So I'll just have to muddle through best I can. Thanksnosferatu1001 said:I work as well....
the newbies thread is there, for you and others. It answers every possible question.
Your impatience (or failure to read your own thread) doesnt mean you should ask the same question already answered.
Yep, ignorance. Hence, the newbies thread.

Many thanks for your reply Coupon-mad and thank you for the pointers I shall have a read.Coupon-mad said:I had also been told that quite often CEL get to DQ and don't take matters any further? Not yet. You only need to read the links under the red heading 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN' in the second post of the NEWBIES thread, which includes a link to bargepole telling you about DQ stage and another link to a respected 'Archived User', telling you which boxes to tick...it is really easy.
Out of interest, does the letter allocate the case to your nearest local court already and tell you to send the DQ to that court, and not to the CCBC? I saw one today that looks like the CCBC are doing this now, whereas you used to have to return your DQ to the CCBC.
So, where does your letter say to return it please, as we'll have to adapt our advice if it;s now always to the nearest local court.
In answer to your question, the DQ I have received has to be sent t the CCBC in Northampton.

I never said to not ask any questions
But
You asked questions that were covered either in your thread or on the newbies thread.
Your first port of call, if you have questions, is to use the resources already available. When you exhaust them, then ask questions. Thats only courtesy to a board full of volunteers, who spend time respondin to you, who create detailed threads called NEWBIES to cover as much as possible, etc, so we can spend *our* valuable *to us and people such as yourselves* answering the truly novel or difficult questions
Basically, your post comes across as - im too busy to do some work myself, so you guys do it. Cant you see how that appearance - regardless of your intentions - is damaging?0
