Parking ticket from VCS and rejected appeal as keeper (not driver) - next steps?

Thanks for that, @Fruitcake. I used the online chat to ensure I got a speedy response and had a record of it. See transcript below once I got past the bot and transferred to an agent...although they still just acted like a bot!

Most of what 'Carly' wrote copied and pasted was clearly from a template - I've seen some of those paragraphs numerous times before. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yep, agree. It was a waste of time. However, I shall follow through with the complaints separately and add to my witness statement document about this breach.Umkomaas said:Most of what 'Carly' wrote copied and pasted was clearly from a template - I've seen some of those paragraphs numerous times before.1 -
I would send an email to the DVLA then rather than risk getting template responses from someone who doesn't understand the issue.
You want to know when the DVLA banned the use of privacy notification/this is not a NTD cards or whatever they are called. If it was before the date of your event you want to know why they allowed it this time.
Edit.
I see you didn't ask about the use of a card left on the windscreen, which was the main point of my previous comment.
Is it banned? (It used to be)
If so, when was it banned?
If before the date of your alleged event, why was your data released without checking, when the DVLA had banned the use of these notices?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

The DVLA has never banned privacy notices. Only the red card thingies.

Received yet another letter from VCS (attached)! Looks like they are pretty desperate to try and settle out of court, despite pleading to the contrary. Just one minor thing, I don't need to do anything to demonstrate to the judge that I am not being unreasonable by not "playing ball" with this lot, do I?

No, it's fine, you can ignore that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks all for your input. I'm submitting over the weekend/early next week, so I'll work up my final version based on your comments and let you know how I get on at the next stage. Still nothing from the claimant re their WS/evidence, looks like they're holding on just as long as I am!1
-
All. My WS/evidence will be with court and VCS on time. Out of interest, though, am I supposed to receive their WS/evidence by the same deadline? What if I don't? Is it only the court who must receive it by the date stated? How does one prove it wasn't received on time, if not the court? They have until tomorrow, but I still don't have it so just curious.0

The deadline for the claimant to file (on the court) and serve (on you) is the same. If you don't receive it in time, that is the first point you mention - even before the judge starts the case - when it comes to the hearing.3
