Any ideas how long the quidco cashback takes with mobileshop.com? Because mine hasn't shown up yet even as pending in my account and I ordered it on 22/09/05. However, i received the phone on 27/09/05. So, should I be worried? Thanks0

i have had a bad experience with them..........they promised me a cheque refund of £25 as they had deleted my original order and then manually inputted it hence quidco wouldnt recognise it.....then i called up and said i will cancel the new order that they manually inputted but their supervisor promised that she would send me the £25 by cheue within two weeks........three months later no money and now they are avoiding my emails and the same supervisor who has promised me the £25 is now changing her story!0

My Orange cashback deals state that you cannot downgrade (or upgrade) your tariff in the first 12 months. You have to stay on the same tariff for 12 months in order to be able to claim the cashback successfully. The terms are printed on the back of my cashback vouchers. In my case the cashback is paid in two lots, half on the 6th month and half on the 12th month. So you could claim half of the cashback in the 6th month and then downgrade, which might be worth doing if the tariff savings for the remaining 6 months is greater than the amount you'll get for the second half of the cashback.
I don't know whether this is the same for 02 though, best to call them and check. The number should be on their website.0 -
I asked cs about this on an O2 cashback deal purchased about 5 months ago and was told downgrading was ok but now I will go and have a look at the cashback vouchers to check - I am concerned now as I actually want to switch to another tariff, not cos it is cheaper but because I want different minutes/text combination.I think....0

On my cashback vouchers it states that they aim to process redemptions within 45 days of the request.
Your situation doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I think you'll find that most providers will take as long as they like, maybe they're busy, maybe they want to earn a little more interest on the funds, could be one of a number of a reasons for the delay.
The fact that they've received your cashback request and have given you a date is an excellent position, IMO, as I've heard many horror stories about claims being lost in the post, etc. Hang in there0 -
My friend sent her vouchers back (she is with dialaphone) and received a letter 6 days later saying her cashback would be credited to her account within 7 days - and it has!!0

Lucky her! Unfortunately not all providers are the same.0

my £25 quidco referral was denied despite showing up on quidco. dunno why. waiting for them to send enquiry form I filled in.
also quidco has shown up my easymobile referral as £0 when it should be £10 tho on reading it maybe i need to buy another £10 of credit within 60 days.
Otherwise quidco have been reliable, tho still not reached £25.
And hopefully my mobileshop cashback should proceed ok.
(have had no problems with carphonewarehouse in the past.)0
