Sent my payments (1 x RS for me, 1 x RS + 1 x RSISA for fiance) through at about 9pm last night as I didn't have our current account's card reader on me to set up new payees as soon as I opened the accounts. Now showing in the accounts with posting dates of yesterday, and maturity dates of 22/5/18.

Not really that fussed about whether it is "really" 22nd or 23rd as I'll most likely fund them on payday going forwards, which is 28th or previous working day. I can live with the few pence less!

Yes but on the welcome to Ford Money email it says:

    • Beneficiary: Ford Money
    • Our Sort Code: 20-32-53
    • Our Account Number: 63xxxxxx
    • Reference: your Ford Money account number and your surname(s)
The account number they list above is completely different to the one I see when I log in via the Ford Money online banking.

You don't have to black out Ford's 8-digit account number - that is the same account number we are all using. It is their central holding bank account.

The reference should be your unique 7-digit account number that you can see on online banking plus your surname. They use this to allocate your payment out of their central account to your RS.

Ok, that is how I have now set it up.:

    Their account 20-32-53 63604551
    Payment reference 36xxxxxSURNAME

Lets see what happens this time.

Have you also checked that you are sending the money from your 'nominated account', rather than any other account you also happen to have? If by any chance you have sent money from an account other than the one you 'nominated' when opening the savers, then it will not be accepted and will 'bounce' back to the account it was sent from.

Yes, the payments have been sent from the nominated account so just waiting to see if the balance updates now which will probably be tomorrow as they were sent after 1600.

With the ignorance displayed above, then it should come as no surprise that Ford have had problems. Aren't they aware of the difference between Cash ISAs and Stocks&Shares ISAs?

Somewhat harsh words there which I wouldn't want to associate myself with.

However the point to be made is it is not reasonable for us to be expected to rely on social media posts for the correct interpretation of T&C's. Not that most us would do such a thing anyway :)

Has anyone not yet received their customer ID email? I opened 2 for my parents yesterday at 3pm and they still haven't received their customer ID even though it's been after 24hrs. Mine and my husbands arrived within 5hrs after applying.

Apologies, I have lost the plot!

I have applied and successfully opened a regular saver and an ISA regular saver.

I understand that they have withdrawn the regular saver due to demand.

However, the ISA regular saver is still open and it allows me to log in and apply for another ISA regular saver. I take the process to the end and then abort as I want to keep within the rules.

What are the rules on the 4% ISA regular saver, can I open more than one. My only 17/18 ISA would be with Ford Money.

The ISA is more valuable to me as I am higher rate tax payer.

Same situation here - parents not received a thing by email after applying. The one I did myself earlier in the day - fine.

Ford are a split isa provider according to their website – like Nationwide.

    https://www.fordmoney.co.uk/help/about-our-products/what-is-an-isa

So in theory you could open 6 or 7 regular saver isas and fund them at £250 a month and not exceed the £20k isa limit. As long as all your isas are with Ford and you don’t invest more than £20k in terms of new money there shouldn’t be an issue – as long as Ford allow multiple isa accounts.

They also allow you to use transfers in to fund the regular saver isa – so you can also use prior year isa funds as well to fund the isa.
