Would you mind if I put you down as a referee?

My money is now there. The information on my statement says:

23/05/2017 Processed FASTER PAYMENT Posted: 22/05/2017

So I'm not sure whether it counts as receipt on 22 May or 23 May? The one day difference does matter as I need to know whether to send the next months payment on 22 June or 23 June.

It's the posted date that is the important date. This is what will be used by accountants/auditors for the date it was received. The statement date is just when the activity of recording the posting took place.

Recent advice on the Ford Twitter account...

"Hi xxxx, as per HMRC guidelines, you are only allowed one ISA provider in a tax year for all ISA products."

With the ignorance displayed above, then it should come as no surprise that Ford have had problems. Aren't they aware of the difference between Cash ISAs and Stocks&Shares ISAs?

All three of may payments sent yesterday have been returned to my current account.

Sent another £50 over now as a test to see how that gets on.

Ok, I think I see the problem now. The account number listed on the welcome to Ford Money email is different to the one listed on the online banking.

I will try sending over another payment to the one showing on online banking.

Yes but on the welcome to Ford Money email it says:

    • Beneficiary: Ford Money
    • Our Sort Code: 20-32-53
    • Our Account Number: 63xxxxxx
    • Reference: your Ford Money account number and your surname(s)
The account number they list above is completely different to the one I see when I log in via the Ford Money online banking.

The account number is Ford Money's account. We all send payments to that account number. Ford then allocate it to the account number provided in the reference (assuming the account the money is received from matches that of the nominated account of the reference number).
