Are you talking about branch issues? You're one behind on the online issues. In a situatition where you are running out of money to fund, I would fund later issues with money from earlier issues as at least you then know you will be getting 2.25% on that money for a couple of months longer. I would keep a little in the first RS as they talk about their being a loyalty account to transfer maturing funds into, and until we know the details of that account it might just be worth not completely emptying earlier issues of the RS.

I was talking issue 4 on branch RS as there is currently only been 3, and are hoping for 5 for online. I have each one that has been offered, but closed down the Matchsaver when Issue 3 branch was launched.

So now waiting to see if branch 4 is launched and online 5. ~ I have no plans to empty any issue, just wait for maturity.

I cant use the money from the earlier issues as they dont finish till the end of the year think Branch issue 1 pays interest in December and Issue 1 online is is October, so I will have funds when they mature.

That said I will have a maturing Lloyds, HSBC, Leeds (X2) and First Direct before they mature so it will balance out, will miss the 5%/6% interest, but its been a good run.

I am waiting for Chorley to receive my cheque and Ill add that one to my list, just as Lloyds finishes.

Chorley BS, were very quick to open and send me the passbook, I received a verification call, and then the book was posted to me.

Very happy, I have also registered online access so I can see the account online on a read only access which is fine, and It reassures me that the faster payments I make have been received okay.

As others have said the information isn't too clear to understand so I rang them to find out if I could make multiple payments as long as it didn't max out the monthly amount of £500, I was told yes which is good, as it will be filled with money from maturing RS with Lloyds.

All in all I am impressed with the service from Chorley, I just hope that the rate remains the same, unlike Bucks, whom reduced theirs a month after I opened it.

I wait in hope and anticipation for the next RS to be launched.

Unless I've misread it, it appears the store version of Virgin's regular saver has moved on to issue 4 with a maturity date of 1 June 2018.

Just about to go to a branch so will find out for sure in a minute.

Just to confirm the store issue 4 is up and running - opened mine and already have it funded :j

Staff in the store were a little bit surprised to have a customer asking for it already, but no problems opening the account in their usual friendly and polite manner. I can thoroughly recommend Virgin Money for savings :)
