Hi Speculator - did you have to take your book into the branch or were you notified another way (letter/email) etc. I want to know what mine is but won't be able to go to a branch for a while. Cheers.0 -
Since he posted in the early hours of Saturday morning saying it had "just" been paid, I'd imagine he saw it online...which is where I saw mine had been paid.garfield33 wrote: »Hi Speculator - did you have to take your book into the branch or were you notified another way (letter/email) etc. I want to know what mine is but won't be able to go to a branch for a while. Yes, saw it online.
I normally go to bed at 3am ish so I see all the good stuff.
edit: If you don't have online access, you could apply for an account online and it normally gives you online access to your Regular issue 3 straight away. You don't even need to complete the opening (by sending them a cheque) of the new account.0 -

Thanks very much - you're right I don't have online access for Leeds BS, I'll look into setting it up that way!0 -
A rather strange note has appeared on the Leeds BS website about the Regular Saver version 4: 'This account may be closed for further deposits upon a minimum of 30 days' notice.' If Leeds BS actually did this, it would make it impossible to earn the 1.8% bonus which depends on £50-£250 being paid in each month and savers would be left with just 0.5% interest.0

I've just received a maturity letter for the Nationwide Flexclusive Regular Saver. Account converts to Flexclusive Saver Issue 8 paying 0.5% interest, retains same account number.
We will be able to start a new Flexclusive RS as soon as the old one matures. Rate for new account is 5% variable.0 -
For Issue 1 and 2, I believe they re-designated the account as something else (some type of instant access account) when they decided to stop further deposits, so this issue never arose. I would expect something similar for Issues 3 and 4.A rather strange note has appeared on the Leeds BS website about the Regular Saver version 4: 'This account may be closed for further deposits upon a minimum of 30 days' notice.' Mine matures 30th November. Hopefully, they will let me open one on the 30th so that I will have a balance of £1000 on 1st Dec.0 -

Does your maturity letter say you can open one on the 30th November?0
