My understanding of the terms and conditions is that you can keep earning the annual bonus indefinitely, so I have put this account in post 2 (no maturity date).
SS - the bonus is only applied at the end of the year to that years contributions (subject to meeting the terms). Amounts from prior years only get the 'standard' rate.0 -
I set my SO to my new FlexDirect current account for the first of the month and similarly my SO from the FlexDirect Account to my new Regular Saver. Interestingly my SO to the current account hit today (as expected) but my SO to the Regular Saver moved on October 1st. Which has 'cost' me at least 13p.
I might switch from SO to faster payments in future.0 -

Don't know whether it's of any help (and apologies if you already know), but you can make payments directly into your Flexclusive Regular Saver from any source, it doesn't have to come from the Flex Direct account.0 -
Because I have to deposit £1000 per month anyway, I thought I might as well 'use' £500 of it for a purpose, rather than cashtilling the lot!0

But as the account requires you to fund with £1000.00 anyway you may as well send £500 of it to the RS, then transfer the £500 back to where it came from, rather then having to do two transfers.
Thats what I do anyway, same with the regular payments into other accounts I leave just enough to cover the DD, then transfer the balance back out again,.

Thank you for the reply Ed. Are we able to open the 2% as well then?
Another question about whether I'm eligible for the following accounts:
-Lloyds 3% and 2% (I already have one at 4%)
-Santander 3% (I already have one at 5%)
-Nationwide 2% (I already have one at 5%)
I've been out of the loop on regular savers for the past few months so doing a bit of financial tidying. How many years till we see the 9% accounts again I wonder...0 -
If you have the Club Lloyds RS at 4pc, you can't have the Club Lloyds RS at 3pc but you can have the Lloyds RS at 2pc.
Santander: only one RS
Nationwide: you can only have the Flexclusive RS at 5pc or the "ordinary" RS at 2pc, not both.0
