There is technically nothing that stops you from deleting the SO they have set up, and to set up your own. Though it would be silly to play about with the date as you could fall foul of the T&Cs if you get it wrong.0

There was a post recently from someone who cancelled the SO because their payday changed. FD subsequently wouldn't let them set it up again for a different day.0 -

Yes branch based, and not sure if Issue 1 has been withdrawn. Will know more Monday. Nothing on their website about 5%.

Which regular savings accounts apart from First Direct require you to pay in a certain day of the month, instead of just allowing you to pay in any day in the calendar month?0
