Applied for the BHS 2 yesterday and hopefully will sit alongside my BHS ISA.
Question is - which account do you recommend for drip feeding the BHS 2 from?
The best I could find was either the Nationwide Loyalty Saver (which I also applied for yesterday, will get the top rate as well over 15 years membership) or to use my balances from TSB Enhance accounts from November 4th when the interest rate drops. Both are 1.5%. Monmouthshire is no good, as only 4 withdrawals and I've already used one.
Anything better that I've overlooked?0 -

I have 3 dormant FlexDirect accounts that are still there after the 5% reached the 12 months period.0

Just back from Nottingham where I have opened the 3.1% regular saver! and was also just in time to get the Special Saver at 5%!
I thought it had closed.
You would need to be within reach of a branch and get an appointment before the end of the week to be in time.0 -
Is it possible for a couple to have 3 of these - 1 joint then one each in sole names. Thanks0

"You can only have one Account in either your sole name or held jointly. "
So, it is better to have two separate ones than just the one joint. But you can't have two separate ones AND one joint.

If I open a First Direct Regular Savings Account on, say, 15th October, with £300 when is the next date I can deposit £300? 15th November or 1st November?0

15th November.
You have no control over the date of the second and subsequent payments as the SO is set up by them and the date cannot be changed.0
