Edit - ignore this post its on the first page of this thread from at least 2009!!
No it hasn't. The 2009 one was issue 2. The current (new?) issue is issue 3.
The total rate is still 3.05% but the issues differ in the amount of the bonus component, date interest/bonus is paid and in the maximum monthly contributions (and perhaps in other ways?).
Leeds has also introduce a new regular saver.
"Flexible Regular Saver account which pays 1.50 per cent, including a conditional bonus of 0.25 per cent. The minimum investment is £20 a month and the maximum is £1,000. Savers are allowed to withdraw 12 times during the bonus period with no penalties."

That is an absolutely dreadful deal, when you can get 1.6% at the AA with none of the restrictions Leeds have.0 -

It may however suit someone who prefers to carry out transactions in branch.0 -
I hope they would be using something like Nationwide FlexDirect or if they have more than £2K or £3K Lloyds/BOS Vantage, TSB Enhance, Santander 123. Oodles of branches for these, compared with the occasional branch for Leeds BS.
1.6% for a Regular Saver is really taking the proverbial. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come whilst inflation is still bobbing close to the 3% mark.0 -
Hi Folks,
There are a few changes for this weekend's update.
- Leeds BS Regular Saver issue 2 replaced with issue 3; interest rate still 3.05% but deposit amount changes from £20-500 per month to £50-250 and the bonus period now runs from 1st November to 31st October each year (I am not going to list the Flexible Regular Saver as the interest rate is only pays 1.5%)
- Buckinghamshire BS Simple Regular Saver issue 1 replaced with issue 2; same restrictive terms and conditions as before and the interest rate has dropped from 2.5% to 2%
- N&P Gold Savings Account interest rate dropped from 5% to 4% for new applicants from 1st November
- Marsden BS Branch Regular Saver withdrawn
I will do another update next weekend.

RegularSaver (Issue 3) is limited to one account per customer (inclusive of joint accounts)......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Does the Nationwide Regular Saver allow standing orders from external accounts?0
-
It has a 'normal' sort code and account number, so I don't see why not.0

Yes. I am speaking from my own experience having NW Flexclusive regular saver in the past....0 -
I recently applied for the Issue 2 (as in the cheque still hasn't been drawn, but I sent the application several days before they pulled it.) As the terms and conditions of this issue are worded, it may be possible to apply for the new issue if you already hold a previous issue therefore:
Then again, they may chose to differ.
Yes those with Issue 1 or Issue 2 can clearly also hold Issue 3, Issue 3 is potentially an inferior product due to its conditional bonus only being 1.8% as opposed to Issue 1 and Issue 2 conditional bonus being 3%.
I realise the above was mentioned in an earlier post, thought worth a second mention as not reflected in O/P update.0
