Yes SA, me too. Today was ok, I didn't nap and seem to be coming out of the end of term collapse I normally get in the holidays.
Took the dogs for a walk which was kind of like the human version of the Birds, as in one minute the street was empty and the next people where coming from all sides!
I have made jacket potato and some type of frozen fish from the freezer (surprisingly that is where I keep the frozen fish) with peas.
Need to think about dessert. I don't think we have ice cream. but there might be some ice cream mars bars.....

I was having a nap on the settee with the dog lying across my knees until a delivery man appeared and knocked on the window!
We're working on a rota basis so I was in Monday but I'm not in again until the 9th. I've struggled to get motivated to do anything this week but hopefully next week I'll get myself sorted!
Keep plodding along
Hugs

It was like that in my area this morning when I went to the shops. One minute I was thinking oh this isn't so bad there's hardly anyone around, the next there were people in masks and gloves everywhere like a zombie apocalypse. It was really hard to keep the recommended 2 metres distance without stepping into the road and getting run over. I found it a very frightening experience and what with this and the sight of the lovely local small businesses all locked up, I was in tears on my way home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Today was the first day I was scared. Not stressed or worried but genuinely frightened. It was like falling off a cliff. Horrible. It was all started by a comment that a friend made on FB that online deliveries would be stopped. I don't mean food but other stuff - clothes mainly. Not that I am a big clothes person but just the shock of knowing they would stop it that they could stop. And I can't find anything that says they will so I don't believe it is happening. It was just such a horrible feeling.
To try and overcome this feeling which to be fair with the Andrew Marr show on has already dissipated I am planning to do all my online ordering for the garden this week. I mainly need compost. And cement, I need to fix a wall. Of course I need to watch some You tube videos about how to fix it...but you get the idea. (of course in the reality of situation these are wants not needs)
I really do have loads to do in the house and loads of work to do for school so I can be very busy which keeps away the dark moments. Beyond that I have lots of stuff I want to do in terms of learning things and trying DIY stuff in the garden (!)
Ideally I think that this next month will be spent sorting the sheds and the garden so that more things can be organised inside.
Must get on with planting things too.
Am hungry now. Also need a shower. Ok. *yawns*
best get on XXXX

I have come to the conclusion that actually I have been living like this for a really long time and I am quite good at it, whereas friends can stay in pjs and drink alcohol, watch Netflix as and when they wish I have never been free to do that, one friend couldn't believe I was still showering and getting dressed! It is a rule in this house, she literally won't speak to me some days unless I am dressed and like most things I have gotten used to it and over the years as I have gone out and gone away less and less and since my BIL - well that was zero for over a year and she has become used to things being done her way. I had one drink last night and she made a few comments about it. So I really think a lot of this lock down will be business as usual. Much like when she was ill last year and I couldn't leave.
It isn't a good prospect, in fact it is really quite bad.... but at least I know what I am dealing with.
I do have a plan B if it becomes too much, I have at least two friends I could move in with. I will review each month. So next pay day.
Also, I will spend less money over the coming months so that puts me closer to the house idea. That is what I really need to do.
It is raining. Mind you might be a good time to walk the dogs.
Not that I can be bothered right now.
Oh and in other news I think my sister might not be paid in the US soon so that will be the next thing to worry about. Quite serious really.

It's all the knock-on effects you don't realise. I've noticed quite a few online clothes shops are closing, not surprised as we don't really need new clothes right now. It will just be the essentials soon, some of them may have to diversify if they want to stay afloat. It annoys me when the general feeling is that folks are lounging about watching Netflix - I still have to work, ok from home, but I'm a key worker supporting the economy. Thankfully not on the helplines but many of my colleagues are being redeployed as the phones are ringing off the hook and the helpline staff can't cope with the sheer volume, so it may come to it at some stage. I'll do whatever is required if it helps.
If it helps - I'm getting dressed every day too, I put a bright orange jumper on today to cheer myself up and I've painted my nails bright blue 😁

Yeah I know what you mean - the schools are closed but I am still working each day, we have tasks to do and work to set. and I am answering e mails from children who can't read instructions......... they do make me laugh. And I miss them.
I walked the dogs and moved the washing on. I have paper work to shred. Ideally I would like to move furniture back into my room now the rabbit cage is smaller. That would make things better up there.
But I might nap. The tv is so loud can barely think.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
I napped and then truthfully stayed in my room doing nothing. I desperately need a desk space. I sat for ages on my bed trying to work out how I could arrange my room to have a desk space, dressing table, a place for the tv AND a place for two small fish tanks.................I think I might have to manage without a dressing table.... or a very smalllllll dressing table... hmm. I think I maybe...I have worked it out.
