Coo! Just found 5p on KW's side of the room, that's going in the pot
We WILL get married before we're 60!

Hope your back is better soon KK. It’s surprising how some things can set off back pain. When they replaced the carpet at work they chose one with uneven pile and it triggered my back pain. I struggle to walk on uneven surfaces. The wheelchair users and people with walking aids also struggle with it.
Those pennies will soon add up. Enjoy the rest of the weekend x0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I felt like such a freak, but reading about the carpet issues is so familiar to me!0

Yesterday was a NSD, hoorah! Today, I bought some naan breads, which were VERY disappointing, more like a hard flatbread, despite being Sharwoods.....given that we go past an Indian restaurant on our way back from the supermarket, next time we have the urge to have naan with our home-made dhal, I'll pop in for the real McCoy.
I also bought, errrm, Jaffa Cakes, and bread, as I feel like I'll be in bed long before the bread-maker would finish. Only £3.17 spent, but could have spent only £1.20...
My purse is completely empty of cold, hard cash, so there's no way I can put change in the sealed tin for a while!
School was mainly good, but the children were all antsy and it got a bit frustrating at times, trying to keep them motivated and not just sitting chatting.
KW's back home late tomorrow night, I can't wait, feels like he's been gone AGES (only since Friday, but I have got used to sleeping diagonally across the bed....)
Right, I'm too tired to do any useful work, so think I'm going to go to bed and hope that I whizz through a few things at 6:30am, like I usually do! I just need to locate one of the cats though, my ninja has come up miaowing madly at me, which might mean that he just wants attention, or could mean that the gingernut is still clawing at the back door trying to reach the handle to get out again!0 -
Well done on the NSD. How weird that the naan's were so hard. Hopefully the next lot will be better.
I hope KW is back soon and the kitty keeps you and DD company in his absence. As to work 3 days to go from today...….:beer:Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I always find shop bought nan bread hard. I usually find they soften if you sprinkle water over them and pop under grill for a few minutes.
Hmm Jaffa cakes... now there’s an idea, nom nom. Trouble is once I open a pack I have no willpower. I do find though that I prefer the aldi ones these days.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hurrah I am glad. Now you can have a great weekend.

Hooray for the weekend, I've had a lovely day with KW, just mooching, doing the shopping, chatting to people, and getting my hair cut. It was so shaggy and horrible! With short, thick hair, it needs cutting quite frequently, but at least at the place I go, I can get my hair cut and my eyebrows tamed for £24
DD has been feeling really rubbish and has had some time off school yet again, but today was up and about before midday and looks well on the mend. There's hope for Monday morning!0 -
Hurrah for KW being back and for your hair cut and pampering. I hope DD is better and that you have a great weekend.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
