Amazon Credit Card good or bad?

Just for general purchase, do you need to setup DD with it as a condition.
Any feedback for recent use.

  • What do you mean “good or bad”?
    In what respects?

And yes setup a DD to clear it in full each statement month.

I don’t have a DD And pay it off myself (I’m disciplined) so it’s not compulsory.
I like it because you get the rewards very quickly and they are useable (not some points scheme that’s difficult to use - I can never use air miles on the flights I want).

It’s not a high rate though so I use Amex in preference where I can.

I’ve had trouble using new day in one place (auto-aid who claim it’s not a uk card) but fine everywhere else.

Ignore the reviews. The vast majority of reviewers are always from people who are unhappy. Satisfied customers are less likely to leave reviews.

For what it is worth, I have two NewDay cards (including an Amazon Platinum card) and never have any cause to complain. I am a happy customer. :)

I only use the Amazon card for Amazon purchases. I've set up a DD to clear it in full each month but you don't have to.

I recently got one - got the £20 voucher - and have since earned another £10 voucher through the points system. You don't need to set up a direct debit - but I have - and for the full amount. Do you have a particular aversion to direct debits? They ensure you never forget.

Just remember that it becomes your default card.
