Yes please PRINCESSKITTY and welcome SLM, VULPIX is right, you’ve revealed yourself now so you have to stay. 😉 We’re definitely a quiet lot at the moment, I think the strange times have thrown us all out of kilter. If anyone buys Pandora for pressies they’ve got their sale on atm, I bought a Moments Bangle today for £25 and some of the sale charms are really good prices. As you probably know by now, my Christmas planning begins in earnest at the end of July so I hope I’m confident enough to be out of lockdown by then (we’re shielding until I’m reassured it’s safe not to due to DH’s poor health). I’m not getting my hopes up for much from QVC this year, their Christmas build up has been a definite disappointment for the last two or three years. I used to look forward to Christmas in July on 25th July then Countdown to Christmas on 25th August, September and October but they don’t seem to have any build up anymore. Bring back the proper Mr Christmas with the naff waistcoats and Thomas Paconi baubles. God I’m a sad case lol.
Hope everyone is ok and coping with all that’s going on.It's the most wonderful timeof the year :6 -
Thanks PK, am now having a good time adding stuff to the Pinterest board 🎄It's the most wonderful timeof the year :4

Hi guys its been ages hope everyone is doing ok - I will try and catch up
finally getting a little bit of normal back here which means I actually have 5 mins to myself once in a while at long last - its been a looooong few months. Been thinking a lot about xmas prep the last few days so figured its about time I checked back in.
I have actually started picking up a few bits as there have been some reasonably good offer on - picked up a couple of bits for the grandkids and a few things for my xmas donation pile- I figure things are going to be pretty tight for a lot more families this year so going to try and pick up a couple of items each week.
The boys have their eye on the new ps5so providing its out and we can get one that will be their main present- I know its going to be fairly expensive but our holiday got cancelled so I've budgeted money out of that to cover it but they won't be getting much else.
Thinking I might start making a list of xmas crafts ect I'd like to get done this year and make a start or at least start getting in the materials for them as it seems like every year I never actually end up doing most of them. Anyone decided on a xmas theme yet?
Colour wise I think I'll probably stick with our traditional red & gold but haven't got a theme yet
I know I always say it but I will try and pop in more often
Take care all and chat soon

Been to two local charity shops was surprisingly ok, I picked up some mini notebook sets for my gran for Christmas. I bought my dad a diy magnetic wrist wrap to go in his stocking which arrived this week in post. I’m making a list of Christmas crafts I want to do this year on Pinterest.
hope everyone is ok xx£2 savers club 2025 #2= £483 -
Hi all, another busy few days here as it was Squeak’s 3rd birthday on Friday. We had booked a bouncy castle for his birthday but it was too wet so we had it on Saturday instead, they loved it and it was so nice to do something for them as we haven’t done anything for three months like everyone else. Wiggle went back to school today, we didn’t send him on the 1st June as we wanted to see what the figures were doing and now just seemed right. We felt like the benefit for him now is greater than the risk, he was fine for ages in lockdown but the last few weeks have been difficult with his behaviour. I picked him up after lunchtime and he was full of beans and had a great time much to my relief and we feel like we’ve done the right thing.
Still no Christmas things going on here what with birthdays and Father’s Day, we’ve just got Wiggle’s birthday to go in August now. I say that but Squeak is next to me having some quiet time on his tablet and listening to Christmas carols!! So I’m feeling quite Christmassy right now, and Wiggle tends to watch the Grinch every other night!
Just a reminder if you’d like to join the Pinterest board I set up so you can actually add pins just DM me your email address and I’ll send you an invite to join.
Peppa I’ve actually only managed to watch Christmas in July on QVC once when I was pregnant with Wiggle, I bought some lovely kraft Christmas bags but haven’t managed to watch it since. My friend did tell me that Hallmark channel is having a 17 day Christmas movie marathon in July so perhaps you can watch that instead?? Great to have you on board with the Christmas Pinterest board!
mandco good to hear from you! It sounds like you’re getting a Christmas plan in place. In my house the decorations are very traditional, always red, gold and green and I don’t like to deviate from that! I enjoy looking a photos of other people’s different colour schemes but I like to keep mine traditional at home.

Pk belated birthday wishes to squeak doesn't seem possible hes 3 already. We've been lucky and not had any birthdays during the lockdown but it must have been really hard for those who have aside from not really being able to do anything to celebrate or see family it must have been hard to source presents too. Glad wiggle enjoyed his first day back at school its a really tough call as a parent to send them back but hopefully knowing hes happy has made it a little easier for you.
Finally got myself a sewing machine - been meaning too for ages but never got round to it its only a basic starter one but it means I can finally get round to some of the many crafts I have on my list. Also ordered some xmas themed/coloured fabric & ribbons.
Boots have a diesel gift set down to £31 usually they are usually around the £50 mark - so ordered one to put away for xmas

How I how is everyone getting along ? Went back to work last week my first day back was horrendous , most people were ok but the odd one or two can’t follow simple instructions and think an appropriate response involves only four letter words !
Christmas planning is going at a great pace ,got a few items to wrap and ideas for the rest .3 -
I’m currently unemployed, as my contract expired. It’s the first time I’ve been out of work. But I’m enjoying spending time with the children while I look for work.
I have made some Xmas progress during lockdown through buying online. My plan for this month is to sort out the rest of the stocking fillers for the children.

Chanie sorry to hear about your Job I know the job market is very tough at the moment so fingers crossed you find something soon. Stocking fillers I really struggle with now my kids are getting older so should probably make a start on those.
Went to the disney store today - They won't let you in without a face mask - Luckily they do provide them if you don't have one but I did feel a bit uncomfortable using it as they were just in a open bag and they handed you one. I risked it as needed to pic up DGD birthday present and didn't want to have to make another trip but I'll def make sure I'm carrying my own in future.
Picked up a couple of character cups/beakers in the sale for the xmas eve boxes and got my granddaughter the 2020 easter Minnie reduced to £5 too.
