All I've managed is a tiny bit of mending on-the-run, i.e. mending my leggings whilst wearing actually them! The Wedding has taken over every spare moment, the excitement levels in this household (and the bride's) are through the roof and almost every conversation gets hijacked round to what the girls are wearing on their feet/hair/faces! Bridesmaids dresses are sorted - tried on yesterday & they both looked stunning - I have a dress I'd be happy to wear & 6 months to find accessories, the Dress itself is sorted and they're even discussing what to dress the poor dog in.

Everyday clothes-wise, I'm not in need of anything much except - new leggings! They don't make them like they used to, you know...

@thriftwizard, I'm impressed with mending leggings whilst wearing them.  Every time I wear mine I spot some tiny holes along the front - perhaps I need to take a leaf out of your book and take some cotton to work with me.

One of the CS blouses I bought over the weekend has loops for a belt, but no belt.  So I looked online and found a pattern for a macrame belt that I thought would probably look good.  Have found a pattern to follow online (but if anyone has any recommendations I'd be pleased to have them) and I found that Aldi are selling a pack of Macrame yarn in just the right shade - £3.99 for 4 x 50g balls so nabbed a pack at lunchtime.  Have never done Macrame before so watch this space

4 more coupons spent and I am up to 41 coupons used, yikes!!  But I will have lots of Macrame yarn left over so I may need to find some more patterns.

Hello Everyone, I'm still not getting my daily emails from the forum so can only access the website intermittently (and it's been blocked at work as they are having a clamp down!).  Is anyone else getting the daily updates?

Pip, I remember you saying about a website for when you need a bit of yarn that has maybe been discontinued, but I can't find it.  Could you remind me please?  A lady in the WI needs a couple of balls of Hobbycraft WI yarn and can't find it anywhere.

Also had a good buy in the charity shop on Saturday, a pair of Per Una trousers reduced to £1 and they fit perfectly!
Congratulations re the Per Una trousers!  Good spot!

No, the daily updates haven't been re-instated.  I keep hoping they will be.  (My work are OK at the moment.  My previous employer blocked personal emails but allowed you to spend all your time on eBAY and other shopping sites.  I can't remember if they allowed FB, but they did allow MSE.)

The website is Ravelry.  http://www.ravelry.com/.  You do have to join it, but it's free.  Once a member, search for the yarn and then click on stashes to find people who may want to sell.
