I've done nothing at all today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

Because we are home, we are noticing more,

After a very lazy day yesterday, I have been up and out for my walk this morning.
Inspired by @savingholmes I have downloaded My Fitness Pal. I am just going to use it to track my eating for a while so I can see how much I actually eat. My general meals are mostly healthy, but they are fully outweighed by the endless snacking so hopefully this will be an eye opener. I've never calorie counted before so this should be interesting.
It's going to be another warm one today, so not sure if I will be doing much in the garden, I might leave it for next week when it is cooler again. I'll see how it goes.
Have a good day everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
I've caught up with surveys and checked banks. I'm in the middle of doing a RM unaddressed survey at the moment, but they don't seem to be delivering any of the junk mail. The only one I've received is the Boris letter.
It's such a novel situation having money in the bank at this stage of the month. I'm so unused to it. It's nice though, and hopefully will become a new normal in the future."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all have a relaxing day.
There appear to be a scary amount of Easter eggs in the house, it looks like DH and I took advantage of the various offers at many points, and didn't coordinate what we had bought
The kids are mid-easter egg hunt, that should keep them occupied for a bit!

Your Easter egg hunt sounds fab. Mine will do one later. Good that your savings pots are building up. I have too much access to online shopping so not having the same effect for me- if anything I am spending more at the moment. Some of that will be that DS is home - and some crafts, the garden and any other hobbies... We are doing our own version of 'dig for Britain' LOL.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm trying to get what I can when I go to the supermarket otherwise, even if I have to spend a bit more. I'm working through my books, the kids are working their way through the craft and colouring stuff we have at home. We're pretty well-stocked
The garden is one area I'd probably like to spend to buy some plants and a few other bits, but I'd be better off saving the money anyway.
