We are heading out this morning to get some fresh air and see if we can spot some snow. Later I hope to take the tree down.
I managed to get a Mr T delivery slot for later in Jan today. They seem to be hard to come by at the moment.
I've just renewed the home insurance and paid in full for the year. I did shop around but stayed with the same company in the end. That's another thing ticked off."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
Tree is still up!
We did have a nice time this morning, didn't go far but found some snow and had a snowball fight.
I've just cashed out on PA, so will send that to savings and the mortgage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

What fantastic news this morning about the vaccine, hurrah! Here's hoping that 2021 improves eventually. It's good that they are prioritising one dose, hopefully that means we can get it quicker. Hopefully people will stay sensible and just hold out a bit longer.
I was up early today. I had a delivery from Iceland booked and they were here at 5 to 6!! The slot was 6am-8am but usually they text in advance. Not today. I was awake but had a mad scramble to get dressed.
Not much planned for today. I've just downloaded @savingholmes book so I might make a start on that.Payday tomorrow, so I need to do the financials and also start doing my end of year decluttering totals!
DH sold another item overnight so will get that posted as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
Thanks Jwil for buying my book and helping to get the word out. Really appreciate it.

I'm jealous of your snow Jwil as I love it but we rarely get it in Devon ☃️.
I'm delighted about the Oxford vaccine too and them giving more first doses seems a very sensible way forward 🎉🎉🎉. There is hope on the horizon although we have a tough winter ahead of us.
I think I want our Christmas decorations to stay up for ever this year as they've been cheering me up. I'm definitely going to keep the lights up until the end of January I think as it's so dark and grim out there. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

It's going to be a tough few weeks, but hopefully we'll soon start seeing an impact on hospitalisations and deaths. We've got to get past the Christmas and New Year peak first though
I'm thinking that some of my plain fairy lights might become a permanent fixture. They do brighten things up a lot. We'll take down the big christmassy ones though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Love that you are reading it already Jwil. Exciting.
On Xmas lights - I think I will take the main xmas tree down in a few days but leave all our other lights up. It's going to be grim. We've just gone into Tier 4.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
