I made it to 12/15, which isn't too bad. I think I keep my rules a little different. A spend day for me includes planned spends and fuel etc, because any day that I enter a shop, even a garage forecourt, is a day I may spend money on unnecessary rubbish (aka chocolate :rotfl: )
Will pop over to the Feb board and set next months target :D

MidsHollie, 12/15 is great! :T:T Well done! :A I hear you on the chocolate :o:o:D:D See you on the February thread :)

No more NSD's for me, so I finished on 11/12. A little disappointed but had an awful day at work and had an emotional spend on some chocolate late on in the day. It felt good at the time so I won't beat myself up to much

  • Managed 14 Nsds for January. This was a great step for me in taking control. Going to adjust my and definition as i was including planned spends like weekly food shop. So with that in mind I'm going to try for 15 NSD for February.
If you dream it can you do it????????

Found the challenge harder than I thought I got more than half of what I hoped for though. MOT and oven breaking didn't help. Am looking forward to trying again Feb and hope to do better. Well done everybody

ttomo, I agree the challenge is trickier than it seems and it can be derailed easily by things going wrong, such as the oven breaking, but 6 NSDs is six better than none! :T:T See you on the February thread :)

Managed 18/16 in the end! Sorry about sporadic posting. Also posting in the NST monthly threads and sometimes forget to keep both of these updated. With February I will be keeping a list of threads to keep posted. :)

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)
