Morning world :hello: (just about still morning as I am typing, it may not be when I have posted!)
Payday tomorrow, and I should also know by the end of tomorrow my SE earnings that will be paid later in the month, so will be able to fine tune my YNAB budget for next month.
I have a few jobs to do tonight which include:
- Listing a coat for sale on FB. I literally wore it twice then found a coat I preferred the style of, and it's a good brand, so hopefully someone wants it
- Arrange the current account switch to TSB. I was meant to do this today at work but forgot the current account card
I may or may not make it to the gym tonight, this is workflow dependent. If I don't make it out to the gym, I'll do some exercises at home to make up for it.
We have a home delivery coming early on Saturday morning as they sent me some money off vouchers, then I am off to get my hair done as it is due, and I'd like it looking nice for whatever I end up doing for my birthday next week.
Also pencilled in for tonight is some SELF CARE. How I cannot find 15-20 minutes to pamper myself a bit is beyond me, but tonight I am getting it DONE. My hair and skin will thank me!!!
I hit my targets today for NSD's and bringing lunches to work, so that's something positive today :T
I had the horrible experience this morning of waking up literally two minutes before my alarm, so I had just got cosy again when it went off :rotfl: a few choice words were used :rotfl:
Hoping to get some form of a lie-in on Sunday, I want to get in a session of squash, but hopefully we can get something not too early0 -
LOL at waking up before the alarm. I woke up over an hour before my alarm I was very disappointed. Hopefully we can both have a good sleep tonight!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I can confirm I slept through until the alarm woke me up :rotfl: hope you did, too!savingholmes wrote: »LOL at waking up before the alarm. I woke up over an hour before my alarm I was very disappointed. Hopefully we can both have a good sleep tonight!
I have signed up for the TSB referral bonus account, hopefully I've done it right, but the account opening went through, no issues. Only about a year ago I would have struggled to get more than a basic account!
I didn't list the coat, will do that later, but I DID finally carve out the pampering time for myself, so there is that
It's finally Friday, and tomorrow is finally February and I can have a sodding glass of wine :rotfl: :rotfl:
I need to tweak the Ocado order a little, then that will be good to go for tomorrow morning, booked for 7:30-8:30 am as I am pretty sure I am due at the hairdressers some time between 9 and 9:30, I will have to dig out my appointment card later on. It's in my car somewhere :rotfl:
I should put it on my to-do list this weekend to tidy my car out, it's not as bad as OH's which is literally like a tip/bomb site, but I drop the odd thing to "pick up later" and there's a few bits now :rotfl:
Our new broadband gets set up today, thank god, so hoping I go home to a lovely, reliable internet connection0 -
Congratulations on being shortlisted for the job, that's a real confidence boost!
Well done on the self care, it is so important for well being, your diary really inspires me you're doing great!

Hey everyone :hello:
I will try and get on for a longer post tomorrow, been non-stop today up early doors to take in our online shop, then went to get my hair done, then home to speak to my parents for our weekly catch-up. Would have missed it if I had driven as there was a nasty accident on the road home, not sure what happened but there was a motorbike and it's rider in the middle of the road, and the bumper of a car on the side of the road  air ambulance even landed in the field right behind our house!
Then I had to go and get some cleaning bits that I could not get with our online order, and also agreed with OH we would purchase a tumble dryer to stop our towels turning crispy from drying on the radiator - just got a text to see they are coming before 8am  had hoped for a lie-in :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hoping to make more progress with my 2020 list by the end of this month, just need to dedicate the time to get the stuff done, it won't exactly take up masses of time.
Just watching The Stranger on Netflix tonight, I know I've read the book as I went through a phase of reading Harlan Coben's books after watching The Five on TV, and watches Safe recently on Netflix, too.
Enjoying a nice cold glass of wine now that it is February :rotfl:
Oh, and the super-duper broadband is up and running and the bed has been fixed0 -
You've made a start on lots of your targets, well done :T
I've read a lot of Harlan Coben books, how are the netflix series?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Great start to you targets that you have set, I think you have set plenty so may find some you might not get round to but your doing great.
