At work today as an overtime shift but it was a really nice shift and passed very quickly. Went for a quick walk after work, NSD today. Will need to get a couple of things tomorrow, going to make cauliflower and broccoli cheese to use up the last of the mammoth cauliflower but don't actually have any cheese.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Kept meaning to post all week but didn't really feel like there was much to report, however, think I will try to do a daily post as it does keep my mind focused.
Got the expenses back from work which were £50 so I added £25 to the LISA, £11 to the emergency fund and paid £14 off the credit card. I've been adding any survey earnings or cashback from my chase account to the emergency fund which is now sitting at £472.34, really surprised at how quickly it is all adding up as it was £400 at the start of the month.
I can't remember exactly how much I've spent on food this week but there's still around £100 left in the food budget for the month so easily doable. I've taken some ys fish cakes and chips out of the freezer for tonight's tea and a ys chicken joint for tomorrow. I need to do a meal plan for the week but it shouldn't require much shopping as the freezer is still full of ys bargains.
Other spends for this week were £25 on a takeaway for OH's birthday (really yummy and enough food for 2 days), £5.30 on a coffee and cake out with a friend, £18 on an eyebrow wax/tint and £25 on a present for my SIL. I still need to get a card for SIL so will do that today and get it sent away.
I was off work yesterday, had a very relaxed day and didn't do much other than go to my eyebrows appointment. I'm also off work today and tomorrow. We were thinking of possibly going out of the city somewhere today but haven't decided where yet.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

On Saturday we went to a country park about a 40 minute drive away, neither of us had ever been there before so it was nice to go somewhere different for a change. Spent £6.75 in the cafe on a coffee each and a cake to split.
A NSD yesterday - had a fairly relaxed day doing some cleaning and organising for this week.
Today I've spent £52.89 on petrol and £19.81 on food. Cashed out £5.32 from PA and added it to the emergency fund along with £1.05 cashback from the current account.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

NSD yesterday - just went to work and came home. Had planned to go for a walk after work but slept really badly on Monday night so felt too tired to do anything.
Slept a bit better last night but still not all that great, will make the effort to do some exercise after work today. It won't be a NSD as need toothpaste and some hair products.
I've transferred £1.26 cashback to the emergency fund and am waiting for money to become available to cash out in PA. Got my payslip yesterday and again my pay is much better than I thought it was going to be due to holiday average. Will do a budget over the weekend. Feel like I've done well sticking to all budgets this month so hoping for an underspend which can then be popped into savings.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

£7.60 cashed out from PA and transferred to the emergency fund. Still waiting for over £11 to cash out from PA.
£8.67 spent on toothpaste and hair products.
Didn't manage to do any exercise after work as ended up working late but hopefully will get out a walk after work tomorrow.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Added some survey and cashback earnings to the emergency fund so it's now sitting at £499.99, need to find 1p from somewhere!
Not much else to report, will do March's budget tomorrow and also pop to L*dl to get some food shopping as I've got a £5 off voucher.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Sunday I spent £28.02 at L*dl so shouldn't need to get any food this week.
Payday yesterdayafter usual bills have been paid, I've been able to put £446.91 into the LISA, £250 emergency fund, £250 car fund and £200 holiday fund.
Should hopefully be able to add some more to the savings at the end of the day as I've had an underspend on food and petrol this month.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Finished the month with an underspend of £54.15
so £25 to the LISA and £29.15 to the emergency fund. Am hoping that the emergency fund will be fully funded by the end of March.
A NSD yesterday and will be the same today. A later start for me today as I'm at training, lunch is provided so that's a wee bit of money saved.
I've requested a £5.83 payout from t0pcashback so once it clears, I'll pay that to the emergency fund. Still waiting for some money to become available to cash out from PA, seems to be taking ages though.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
