Thanks Sarah.  I had been planning to transfer the cashback when it got to £10 but you're right, better to earn some interest on it so I moved £6.01 to the emergency fund today.  I've already got almost £20 in the round up bit so really pleased with that.

PA money was available to cash out this afternoon so £10.23 cashed out, £10 to the emergency fund and 23p to the LISA.

Filled out my mileage claim for work, only £6ish.  I'm really bad for not submitting a claim if I know it's going to be low but I need to start doing every month as even a very low monthly amount adds up over the year.

Didn't need to get milk today as OH texted to say that he had bought a pint from some loose change in the house so I've made a £5.23 payment to the credit card.

I will definitely need to do a proper food shop either tomorrow or Thursday.  The fridge is almost completely bare except the milk, some cheese and tonight's leftovers which will be for tea tomorrow.  I think it's stressing out OH a bit having so little food in but I feel like it's focused my mind on sticking to the meal plan and making sure we don't waste anything.

Spent £20.82 on coffee today using the 25% discount code, will keep me going for ages.

£4.66 cashback transferred to the emergency fund so it now stands at £421.24.

Shopping list compiled for the next few days and will pop to the shop after work tomorrow.

Not much else to report except I'm excited about the rugby starting at the weekend

Spent £39.55 shopping which was initially a bit of a shock considering I mostly just bought food for the next few days.  But there's actually quite a lot that be can used in future meals and I got a few yellow-stickered bargains which have been stashed in the freezer for a later date.

£55.80 cheque in the post this morning  this is reimbursement of travel expenses for my surgery as I opted to get it done in another health board.  I'd still be waiting for the surgery up here!  Have deposited it using the facility on my banking app so just need to decide what to do with the money once it clears.

Cashed out £5 from PA this morning so that has been put towards the emergency fund.

Got a lovely surprise of £70 from work, they had done a wee collection to get me a welcome back gift but then couldn't decide what to get me so just gave me the cash.  Totally unexpected and lovely, I've put it aside and will use it to treat myself at some point.

I remembered that I'd submitted some expense receipts before I went off sick which I don't think I've been paid for so I'll chase that up on Monday.

Productive day so far - did a bit of planning for the week ahead as it's my first week back at full hours, did a wee bit of cleaning, picked up prescriptions for me and OH and been for a walk round the park.  Afternoon/evening will be spent watching the rugby.

Still need to do a meal plan for week ahead.  Gammon will definitely feature as I've taken out one of my ys bargains out of the freezer to defrost - 1.4kg of gammon for £1.94.

    It really was beanie

Did the meal plan and shop today, spent £35.93 which included some cleaning supplies and lots of ys bargains.  The freezer is absolutely full and I think there's probably enough in there to plan meals around for the rest of the month.  I also got an enormous cauliflower for £1 so have incorporated this into the meals for this week.

Went a lovely long walk along the beach earlier, went a different route from what I do usually.  Other than that, I've done some baking and gardening today.  Now going to prep my breakfast and lunch to take to work tomorrow then head for an early night.

Not much to report today - work was good, first full day back so I'm pretty tired out.  It's been a NSD, just went to work, walk round the park with OH and then cooked tea before relaxing on the sofa.

£6.73 spent today on milk, porridge and crackers.

The cheque cleared today so I transferred £50 to the holiday fund and £5.80 to the emergency fund.  Me and OH are thinking we will go a foreign holiday this year as we had planned to do this the year Covid hit so will need to do a bit of saving.

£6.64 cashed out from PA so I've added that to the emergency fund as well.

Nothing much to report from yesterday - it was a NSD other than some items for work which I will get the money back for.  I still haven't looked into the receipts I submitted before I went off sick so I better do that today.

I think I will need petrol today but I'll look online first to see if it's cheaper to get it close to home or work.

Waiting for over £10 to become available to cash out in PA so will pay that to the emergency fund once it does.

So yesterday I chased up the submitted receipts and will get the money back next week.  I also bought petrol - £31.57.

I cashed out £5.81 from PA so that's gone to the emergency fund.  Managed to get 2 good paying surveys this morning so now waiting on around £15 to cash out.

Today has been a day off so went for a lovely long walk with OH in the morning and watched the rugby this afternoon.  Also popped to the shop and spent £10.77 on food.
