  • Sugar- you are right things are getting a bit dearer. I noticed that the food bill seem to be a bit higher. I have cut out all junk food and am eating more vegetables. This can off set can price increases a bit. I don't mind paying more for nutritious food rather than buying junk. I think you do the same.
It is worthwhile getting some shelf stable goods if you have the space. I honestly have so much that I want to keep saving more. I know that bills are coming soon, I have to be prepared.

I am starting to prefer shopping on line for groceries as i can see the total. Whilst some items in Aldi are cheaper, I tend to buy something stupid like household stuff or clothing. On line shopping allows more control of the money.

I spent the day washing, drying and looking at items to decide what to keep and what to donate. I am being really careful about keeping nice things and will let go of items that just are not right. I have really been looking at a lot of videos of slow fashion.
I am making a list of things that I really want. Currently I don't have a jacket or tops that are not hoodies or super formal. I really want to get a few casual but not too casual tops for summer.
I want to get a nice pair of jeans in a dark blue and new trousers in black and navy.
I don't honestly think that i need or want anything else.
My plan is really spend a bit of money on something right than loads of money on stuff that is not perfect. I have loads of quality clothes that lasts years and some that i culled last year were fast fashion, out of fashion and not a great fit. Any ideas for semi casual jackets would be appreciated.

I washed the hair and used a new hair oil. The head is like really not great, I used way too much conditioner and then oil. Oh my goodness, It is boarding a disaster. Sometimes new products take a bit of learning to use less to get the best out of them.

Sft I think a belted mac or something quilted could be a nice semi casual jacket.   I think you will need something fitted if you want to avoid looking too casual.

I have a navy courduroy blazer from Joules that I love and happily wear all the time to work, pub, lunch etc.
They do a jersey one that I like the look of as well, havn't spotted it reduced enough in the sale yet to go for it.

SFT I do buy lots of fresh meat, fruit and vegetables every week, but unfortunately for me I am also an inveterate snacker who loves chocolate, cakes, biscuits and crisps, although I am snacking more and more in moderation and concentrating on having lots of nutritious home cooked meals.
