FreetodoasIlike, I'm a minimalist too can you imagine the hell of living with a hoarder?
Well we have had another good day. Bed is ordered, car full of junk for the tip on Monday, ensuite given a spring clean. I'm exhausted but it is so worth it. I posted an ebay sale for son and GS has £35 in bids with his items finishing tomorrow. The most expensive hasn't got a bid so I think that is going to be relisted but I think he will be pleased to have some money for his savings. I've said I should be charging commission on the ebay sales, sold some stuff for DD, DS, obviously DH and GS. I'm so minimalist I don't have anything to sell. I have dinner cooking, gammon with new potatoes and a selection of vegetables, one of my favourites. I think I'm having an early night.5 -
Good Mornjng lovely ladies.......
well it's not great news is it......r rate is rising and it's not looking good, so I have decided that as from next week I will be going into lockdown.DIL has been told she and DS need to go into lockdown at least two weeks before the birth. So, in order to keep the family bubble viable so that I can Help out I have decided I will do the same. So next week will be a period of transition, do a couple of big shops to stock up and I have a couple of medical appts then that will be it.I don't mind, it's better to be safe than sorry. This way I can ensure that not only am I able to help out but I'm keeping my family and myself safe. After all I'm pushing 70 so I guess its probably a good idea to keep myself out of harms way too. 😉.I will have plenty to keep me occupied, what with granny duties and just generally being an extra pair of hands both prior to and in the weeks after the birth. Unless she goes into labour Naturally then it will be an elective Caesarian, probably the first week in October.Another lovely day here so going to crack on with the garden, the forecast is good most of this week so I'm going to spend much of it gardening and washing everything in sight.Have a great week y'all. Keep fabbing and stay safe.10 -
My handiwork.......there were six trees and a few shrubs that had survived from the ones I planted last year. Over the last couple of days I have planted a further 4 trees and about 20 or so shrubs and plants. Just a few more plants to go in today and then a load of bulbs to fill in the gaps for some spring colour. Hopefully most of them will thrive. 🤞😉.

The garden looks lovely ll, its goning to be hard to lock down but worth it for you to protect your family and self.
I hit the gym this morning and tired out. A long week. I have loads of paperwork to do so it's still work but less moving.5 -
Afternoon tea in my garden to celebrate finishing the planting. Home made scones and clotted cream. Why not. 😂

would be proud of you. 😍
Reminds me of a story a friend of mine from Redruth told me. Her nephew was working as a Special Adviser to George Osborne and he got an urgent call from David Cameron asking which way round to eat scones as he didn't want to make a faux pas on a visit. 🤣6 -

Scones for me too today. Afternoon tea out at a garden centre. I didnt manage to finish it all so they provided a little box. I stopped off at my daughters who is working on covid testing (she is now the site manager in a nearby town) to walk dogs. I popped the little box in her fridge for her to have when she gets in very late 2n
