I agree about the ALDI flowers, they are brilliant quality, at a reasonable price.I always get red roses there for Dad's grave, n buy Mum a bouquet too
I love their spring bouquets 😍

That sounds painful Wednesday. Hope there's no lasting damage.
I knew about potatoes and parsnips being high carb LL, but I wasn't aware that carrots and sweet potatoes were such a problem. In any event, this time of the year with so many salad vegetables around you should be OK without spending too much. I suppose you could make some soups too to add to the salads on colder days. If you like it, tinned fish like sardines, mackerel and tuna can be quite reasonably priced protein and are you OK with pulses? Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I do enjoy a veggie chilli. Well done on losing 3 lbs so quickly.
As I promised myself I did buy some flowers in Aldi yesterday. I bought a couple of bunches of bronze coloured astroemeria to put in a large vase in the sitting room and a large bunch of Sweet William which I've split into two jugs for the hall and dining room. They're quite vintage type flowers but they suit my home.

There is also one in Orpington, but it’s not as big, so I go to Beckton.4 -

Hope you are ok Wednesday, yeah definitely chuck the slippers out. Take care.Chanie.....baby is due on 18th October but likely to be an elective Caesarian so maybe a week or so before,
Appalled at the global news.
Whilst of course everyone has the right to protest I can't help but think that massed gatherings are not a good idea at the moment. The protests are global...... what chance do we now have of defeating Covid. 😞.5 -
Helen i have lots of family birthdays in the first two weeks of October, so your grandson will be in good company.Wednesday i haven’t been to the Home Bargains in Romford, so let me know how you find it.4

Good morning lovely ladies.....
Brr.......that's all I can say. My body doesn't like the sudden drop in temperature, I'm all aches and pains.......I need time to adjust, 😂.Going to have a nice pamper session this morning........I'm soooo worth it, 😁
Pretty much going to rain most of the day so just going to have a nice gentle potter, keep warm and cosy. Have just been Shopping on Amazon for a few bits, nothing exciting......pain relieving gel and a new water filter jug. 😂.5
