    Me too! Thank you :)

I do Prolific at the moment. Sometimes I get a few and they pay out quickly, other times I feel like I'm waiting ages for a payout (like right now).

I've been productive on my day off so far. Had a lie in which was nice then I got up, went through a pile of paperwork which has been on a shelf for years (yes, years. There was some dated 2015 :o), binned some, put some in the shredding pile (which is now massive) and kept just three things from it. Could have done it so long ago. Never mind, it's done now. I have taken the shelf down too. It was in my hall and just attracted paperwork and dust so now it's gone [STRIKE]I'll have to find somewhere else for the paperwork[/STRIKE] the paperwork won't collect there anymore.

I am planning to decorate the hall sometime within the next 18 months (want it done before my current mortgage deal runs out) and the shelf was coming down for that anyway. Boyfriend reminded me that it costs nothing to prep for decorating so I'm going to do that bit by bit then once that is done it will be a case of decorating bit by bit, as and when I can afford it.

Going to have lunch soon then get organised for meeting my friend for coffee. I've got food for tea tonight. LMG is in for tea too, I've already advised her of my plan and she's quite happy with it. I will not be spending anything at the supermarket other than a maximum of two coffees in the cafe. I will not be going into the main shop.

£6 still left in the incidentals money with enough cleaning products/toiletries/medical supplies/food/milk/bread/cheese/cheese/cheese/cheese/cheese to last until Friday (leftover cheese from Saturday night).

I'll be back later with a financial update.

    And there's more! (below)
I'm so glad you said that as now I'm planning to do the shredding tomorrow afternoon when I get in from work. I'd do it tonight but I've done so much today and still have to make tea. Excuses... Thank you for the support though, it's what I need :)
Well done on the decluttering. Enjoy the time out with your friend.

Thank you. I had a great time this afternoon.

Met my friend for coffee. She got there just before me and had bought the coffees by the time I got there. It was free refills too so I didn't have to pay for anything. I'll get them next time so I'll budget for that but no cost to me today. When we were there she got news of a voluntary position that she had applied for, she is being offered it! I'm absolutely delighted for her and she cried with happiness. It brought tears to my eyes too. She's had a rough few years but things are really starting to look up for her.

After that I went to the charity shop to talk to them about uplifting the chair. They have booked the uplift for 12th February and are also happy to take the shelf I took off the wall this morning.

Got home and checked my survey account. One of the bigger surveys has now been confirmed so my account is up to £6.50. Hooray! Finally I can request payout. There is still 85p waiting to be approved but that can go towards the next £5.

    Financially:
    - free coffee so the £5 towards that is still intact. I have put it in my drawer with the other £25 from the table so I have £30 there now :)
    - just about to uplift the £6.50 in my survey account. That will hit my bank account shortly. Going to put that in the holding account for now.

I need to drink some more water today, mainly to flush out the caffeine from the three coffees I had this afternoon. *hides face*

Thanks GAP - I guess I’ll be doing mine this weekend, and I could easily have gone months continuing to ignore it! Mutual support is :T That’s also given me a push to finally report the overflowing paper recycling bins to the council, they seem to have forgotten to empty them recently.

I'm going to aim for 25-50% of the pile this afternoon (it truly is a large pile). I took lunch to work so no need to feed myself when I get in, I'll be getting right on it. I'll report back later.

Later finish at work today but my flexi is looking better and I won't lose anything when I carry forward into Feb. Already put in for two flexi days next month so waiting for approval of those.

Should be a NSD today. Boyfriend asked if I want to go for coffee later so I told him I don't have any extra money this month. He says he'll pay :j

    Financially:
    - nothing happening with surveys.
    - bank account is quiet today.
    - I've started prepping my month end report for here.
    - if I've got time in between shredding and shredding this afternoon I'll prep my spreadsheet for February. The wage slips were in today so I've printed mine ready.

Thank you. I am really trying hard.

Shredding update: I managed about 50% of the pile. It may have been slightly more but I'm going with 50%. It took about 50 minutes, I stopped twice to empty the shredding bin and it smelled a bit of burning plastic by the time I finished but I feel good for having done it. Boring as heck though, can't do anything else at the same time. LMG was in and we managed a shouted conversation so at least I wasn't completely alone. Still got the rest to do but I can't see myself doing that tomorrow. It's payday which means moving cash around and updating my spreadsheet, that is far more important than boring old shredding. See how I get into this shredding pile trouble?! :o

Boyfriend paid for the coffees. I actually had a hot chocolate. When he brought it over it was only half a cup so I made him take it back to complain. I got to keep the half cup and also got a fresh, full cup. They were starting to clear up and one of the guys who was clearing the food shelves gave us a sandwich and two protein pots (all sealed) for free as they were going in the bin. Think he felt bad about the half cup. I let boyfriend have it all under the pretence that he paid for the drinks so he should get the goodies. I would have suggested sharing but they all sounded rank so I don't feel I'm missing out on any way :p

I topped up my bus card earlier. Bus fares are going up from Sunday so I thought if I paid before then I would get 4 weeks at the old price. Plan worked :) Just need to transfer the borrowed funds back to the yearly payments account tomorrow.
